Interesting, thanks. Surely a hosiery specialist would be able to supply this sort of product with a click of a finger.
No. That's the whole point.

I think its a goer.
Presumably there are technical reasons in the manufacturing process that prevents the production of the tights she wants to make?

This article completely echoes my earlier comments about the stupidity of the 'process' by having the business plans and interviews last:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvandradio/the-...

Utterly pointless. Roisin was by far and away the most credible person there based on performance in the 'tasks'. However, none of that mattered when they looked at her business plan - so why bother making her do all the previous tasks!?

Absurd.

I reckon Bianca will win and Mark needs a swift reminder of what hubris means; he's not anywhere near as good as he thinks he is.

It is probably more of an issue with shops that would potentially sell the product. Simply having in stock a hundred different shades would take up a huge amount of space in a high-street store, and would lead to a lot of dead stock. conversely, if you are ordering online, then colour matching to the wearer's skin is going to be tricky.

Of all the potential ideas though, she seems to have thought it through better than the rest, and claims to have approached manufacturer(s). It is a very scalable product, and has the obvious "exit point" of being sold to a major manufacturer after a few years work.

I know this is the traditional answer to this question - But because they're principal objective IS NOT to find a home for £250,000 - it is to make an amusing hour of television. The money is thing is second fiddle.

If they all had lovely credible business plans, they would probably all be lovely credible people. Then in the tasks they would all play nicely together, make a whole bunch of money and they would get ratings of a few thousand.

or alternatively they could get the idiot who said 'I am the complete business man - women are putty in my hands!' He'll get on peoples tits and hundreds of thousands will watch our program.

Poor Soloman. Great ideas just pouring out, but they whither and die on the fallow ground of a disinterested world...

On the other hand, pitching a logistics operation that majors on the brand logo which uses the letters 'UPS' is going to get you exactly nowhere, even with the mighty Sugar and his hefty £250k in the bank. A large American outfit has been using that name and the term 'logistics' for a while now, and they're big enough to sink Sugar, Soloman and umpteen others in a heartbeat if you tread on their toes.

He was lucky he didn't get further into the defenestration with Claude the bogey man because there was so much he could have used against him.

Nice bloke though.

Looking forward to the finale - will they demonstrate the tights in a typical East End dodgy geezer blag?

Yup, for me Solomon, Daniel, and James made this year's apprentice...

And the obvious eye candy.

No point in watching now Roisin's gone.

Might as well just revisit the previous epidoses on iPlayer while we still can.

I didn't see this posted (went back and checked):

Makes you wonder why he bothered coming on the show.

Am I missing something here, there's really a business in 'creating quizzes'? How fking difficult is it for a landlord to come up with a few quiz questions?

Maybe it's just me, but I'm really not getting all the fawning over Roisin's looks.

Total farce, if it's all about the business idea, then why the competition. They should be doing the checking up on the plan right from the off, then have the battles to win. How on earth was Roisin an accountant? how did she miss running out of money after 2 months. Knobjockey

Why do the trash papers always write as if the Apprentice is still being filmed. Do their readers think it is?
