Wow, never knew about the series. I've read the books a year or so ago, thought they were a bit meh, like del Toro just utilized some of his groundwork from Blade. Will try a couple of episodes.

Well I watched S4, writing was pretty damn good, the plot was well put together.

Hope something comes along to equal it. Had hopes for Wayward Pines but that seems to have finished.

They have almost literally just announced it's been cancelled.

Admittedly after months where they never actually made season 3, but actually cancellation only just happened.


PS. In many ways I preferred the TV ending to The Strain compared to the book; not enormously different but got rid of the weirder concepts.

Will have to read the books again at some point.

Gonna have to read them, I love some of the ideas in the show

Finally watched the end of this. Not a bad ending and a good horror series but there seemed a huge gap between the final series and the one before. I felt like I'd missed a series. Bit of a shame as it was good overall.

yah, I felt that, one of those...6 months later! affairs. I forgave it though, since it wrapped it al up brilliantly.
Other shows have done it, Dollhouse, BSG etc.

At least they binned all the book stuff about angels and so on. The original ending was a bit mental.
