The crafting of this show is so clever. I love the way they bring the threads together so effortlessly near the end, and suddenly, it seems so obvious.

Nadia/Diana/Aiden was excellent.

These chaps really know how to weave a story; particularly given the 30 minute limitation.

Series 6 has completed filming, cast list includes Sian Clifford, Adrian Dunbar, Lindsay Duncan and Kevin Bishop. It will be on later this year, and they've started working on series 7.

All 5 series of Inside No. 9 are on HBO Max in America now, if there are any Americans here.

Well that was wacky....and fantastic! You have no idea what you’re going to get with those two and that’s what makes Inside Number 9 so special. Wonderful telly.

Agreed. Tripe compared with the first few series.

Disagree. An excellent farce and very much in keeping with the single set/play format.

Excellent guest appearances too. I wonder if Paterson Joseph dresses like Johnson when he goes shopping.

Excellent as usual. I can't think of any other TV series that consistently hits the mark and rewards repeat viewings.

Whilst waiting for this series to air I've been working my way through old episodes on iplayer, and even those that I can't remember from first showing are great on second viewing.

Agreed. As you say, very meta, ironic and clever. A strong and funny start.

It was good, but I don't think they'll ever top the first few episodes of Series 1.

You've never seen it before?!

That's like finding somebody who's never seen the Detectorists smile. You're in for a treat. I must have watched 'A Quiet Night' In about 10 times now.

I've never seen the Detectoristssmile

"12 Days of Christine" is my favourite, followed by "A Quiet Night In"

Still to catch up on the latest episode.
