Inside No 9 - BBC 2
Discussion
Some of the earlier seasons episodes were excellent, especially S2 & S3. I just looked back and in particular I remember, even after a few years; The 12 Days of Christine, Cold Comfort, The Bill, The Riddle of the Sphinx, Diddle Diddle Dumpling etc. I have found them more hit & miss recently.
Just watched the whole of season 6.
Last Night of the Proms > Jerusalem > Christ
Had to look up what the song Jerusalem is about Christ visiting Somerset hence the reference Yeovil Detention Centre. Didn't realise it was Sarah Parish in the episode. I was wondering who the special guest was!
How impressive would it have been if it was PistonChat and not DadChat in 'Lip Service'? Hate to say this but that was the stand out episode of all the series.

The Proms episode didn't work for me at all. I was confused why people were doing things all the way through, and didn't feel that any of it was resolved properly. The trope of an old bloke randomly shouting out rude things seemed a bit of a lazy a way to inject some comedy too, by the standards of this show.
Why was JesusNotJesus sexually assaulted ... twice? Why did he stab him when he wasn't really doing anything?

Add shock valueSeries 7 on 2022, Mark Gatiss will be in an episode https://twitter.com/CBGActors/status/1438839826954...
Anyone been to the Inside No 9 theatre tour with Steve and Reece?
I went to it last night, was quite funny. Just Steve & Reece sat on stage interviewed by Mark Salisbury asking them questions about the series. Second half was opened up to questions from the audience.
They spoke about Gatiss appearing in an episode of series 7. Some hints that they may keep going until they have done nine series.

If you do want to ask them a question..At the interval they put a QR code up on a big screen which then lets you type a question to Steve & Reece, to be read out in the 2nd half. I assumed they wanted questions about the series (mine wasn't tread out) but all the questions that did get read out weren't related to Inside Number 9 at all, they were just random questions about them both. The venue staff also have the QR code on a sheet of paper so just approach one when you walk in to scan the code.
Went to the live show last night. It was ok.
If you're a LoG fan and get all the references/asides/voices then I'm sure it's really good. I don't, so about 80% of it flew over my head
It did make me realise that I've forgotten so many of the episodes and when reminded of them (like the shoe or Dunbar episodes for example), it really is an excellent show.
I also marvel at how they haven't killed each other after working together so closely for this long as well!
