Just caught up on the latest episode and definitely enjoyed it more than the Mr King one. Maybe not as clever as some of their other stuff, dare I say it even a little bit predictable but still good to watch.

Last night's episode was enjoyable . As next week's is the last in the present series, I assume its the animated one.

Reading the blurb on the Freeview website, I assume it will be partly, rather than completely, animated.

It reads:
"Everyone remembers the Wise Owl, of course - the bossy cartoon bird keeping children safe back in the 1970s. Those old information films had a lasting effect on all of us, especially Ronnie, who has spent his entire life trying to do the right thing. But what is right? And what is wrong?"

It was in the boy's bedroom. Could see it maybe halfway through the episode.

I've spent the last few weeks trying to figure out how they worked it into an episode which took place in a boat on a river!

(When the series has finished, I'll re-watch them all and have another go.)

12 days of Christine. Had me shedding a tear at the end.

Another vote from me and not just because of Sheridan Smith in stocking, honest smile

All of those four listed are excellent. Sardines as a series opener, and Tom & Gerri too.

I think it's simpler to come up with a list of duds as it would be far shorter.

That's true, I wasn't fond of the one with the odd shoe, the one that was all rhyming couplets, or the live one. That's about it, I could watch any of the others again.

I really love the one in the restaurant where they're all arguing over who pays the bill. The dialogue is just stunning.

The very first episode I saw was the silent one with the 2 burglars and is still my favourite.
