Aqua Marina was cooler IMHO ... though I thought at the time she should have floated.
Oh marina, forgot all about her!

And if course she' could not speak either, perfect woman in our books!

And the gaffer in the chair ( sorry forgot his name!) had massive eye brows and chewed on a great big stogie!

I reckon the tress were moveable so the runway looked much smaller than it was,so no visitor would think TB2 could use it.The other launch pads were disguised too

Come on guys!

You are forgetting just how cool the whole process was!

I mean the friggin palm trees folded down to clear the wings as she taxied out for launch!

I am sorry but as a small boy, that was me sold forever, it was the coolest thing I had ever seen!

Of course when captain scarlet and the crew, and his SPV came along, no one could beat that, I mean come on,,they drove the SPV facing backwards looking through a camera system to drive!

Nothing' was ever cooler! smilesmile
Never really got the facing backwards thing? What's the advantage over facing forwards? Must play havoc with your senses when cornering hard!

I don't even need to do that in respect of Captain Scarlet and Joe 90, I have both of the collectors full box set editions!

I will say though, that whilst I recall just about everyone of the captain scarlet episodes, there are quite a few Joe 90 ones that I had never seen before, so that was a nice surprise.

As mentioned before ... Wanda is about as hot as it gets.

She's also in a few episodes of The Prisoner looking rather fetching spin

I have a really good feeling that the new version will be F A B. smile

Having said that, I thought that about the movie, which was dire.

Thunderbirds could have been so much better back when it was originally made had they access to today's special effects.

Nooooo...part of its charm is the exquisite miniature work. Yes, you could do it more believably in CGI, but would it be *better*?

You wouldn't get the thrill of seeing "Real Hands" and "Toothpaste Lids".

It was great because of all its build quality and design. Cant fault it in fact I bet you whatever they do these days wont be a patch on the original.

So who is the man to make a new one incredible?
