Hastings might not have floated down the Lagan on a bubble but he probably floated down it on that fecking cap. Jesus H Christ, he must be planning once his papers are in to volunteer as a driver for the local steam railway preservation society. Scruffy git.

I like to think Adrian is given a bit of freehand regarding Ted and his dialog.

Hargreaves wont be dead. Anyone could have phoned, said they were from the hospital and said he was.
Or someone went in and finished the job.

I'm more concerned with the 'hands tucked in the vest' look, why do they do that irl?, you look like a knob laugh

Weren't '37' and '45' the call-signs Bodie and Doyle used?

Next we'll have "Broadsword calling Danny-boy" rolleyes

The plot is getting beyond ridiculous..............

I think the cap was raided from the prop department. Thought I'd seen it before.........

I'm not sure it's any more ludicrous than the last series, I think you just have to view it as being about as connected to reality as a Bond film. I.e. it takes place on Planet Earth, but that's about it.

It's a pity there's another series coming, I was hoping this would be the last, even though it's still enjoyable in its own way.

I was chating to a couple of BiB mates about this phenomenon the other day. They reckon some officers do the whole hands inside stab vest thing because it is seen as non-confrontational.

It also leaves you wide open to being nutted by any tosser who wants to have a pop. Basic training says keep your hands free and always maintain a distance.

Like an earlier poster said, it's a year between series and I can't even remember what I had for breakfast. I seem to remember that I enjoyed all previous series, but it's all getting a bit confusing and unbelievable now. And I watched Match of the Day before I watched Line of Duty and I'm beginning to think that 'H' is either Harry Kane or Roy Hodgson... I need a drink...

It takes the strain off your shoulders and back ( a bit ).

It also keeps your hands warm. smile

Hastings doesn't wear a stabby. Ever. I think it would be too much for his skeleton to handle given the size of his hat.

OK, finally caught up about an hour ago, 4 weeks ago id never heard of it, now its been like the breaking bad of 2019 for me, every spare minute watching series 1 - 4.

I must say even though I've watched them all in a short space i'm still a little confused with this series, my only thought is that more than half of the police force are "bent coppers" its just totally unbelievable, i really enjoyed the first few series too, will ovs watch till the end though.

What will be quite amusing for people watching this series in a few years time is the pure confusion on seeing 67 plate land rovers that should be on 08 plates.

If you take a dip sample of posts on the speed, plod & law forum you'll surely find some people who disagree with you there.

And they've never even seen line of duty laugh

I've seen this Luther and Bay.

I belive it's representative, huge, huge amounts of bent coppers.

Oh and regard the hat is it an Italian thing? "If you can't fight wear a big hat"
