Maybe she is dodgy, that's getting quite a common plot thing now. For years "Silent Witness" seemed to have only the main characters, no-one else did any work in the place, then when they bring in an assistant and give her some lines to say, she turns out to be a wrong 'un.

Just caught up with it.

No idea what's going to happen but it's too obvious to be Hastings, I suspect he's involved (maybe being blackmailed by OCG due to his lack money) but trying to sort it.

What about the female member of the OCG, my money is on she's also undercover based on a couple of snippets of being nervous?

Could Hastings be working with her to break the OCG? maybe that's the reason he took over the communication and got Corbett finished as he was about to blow Hastings under cover op.

I predict that the end of this series will see Hastings banged up.

He's been set up to be H, it all looks as if it points to him.

Series 6 will then focus on Steve and Kate then coming to the realisation that the wrong man is behind bars, and working to untangle it all to get Hastings free again.

This is how I see it going too.
