Quite impressed that the cash was still in the room and not pocketed by the hotel cleaner...

I'm assuming the exams Corbett's killer referred to were police entry exams? Bit old to be sitting GCSE's..

Why haven't the OCG's ancient X5 and Disco got covert trackers and listening devices attached to them ?

Back to surveillance school for AC12.

Yeah, he'll be in as a new recruit no doubt, which is why he said he'll have to lay low for a bit.

They'll obviously have someone who'll "miss" his youth criminal history on his vetting.

Forgot to say, give credit to the writers for handling Steve's premature ejaculation scene with Sam in a sensitive manner.

Wasn’t that a ‘not being able to get it up’ scene? His back gave him pain when they were messing around as well. It’s yet to play a part other than that.

Missed an opportunity when they were at the scrapyard when his ex could have said "that's the only stiff I've seen this week" smile

Lisa has to an undercover.
If she was, why did she not say so when interviewed as she was amongst 'friends' then?

Because if she suspects there are bent coppers and she doesn't yet know who they are - especially after meeting Hastings - how does she know Hastings' team aren't in on it too?

Because she's also investigating bent coppers and she doesn't know who they are yet.

Any theories on why they took Laverty's body out of the freezer to wrap it up with Corbett's and dump it in the scrapyard?

She died ages ago, so they must have been hanging on to the body for some reason...

Yes, they could have just put a note in if they wanted to prove that the bag was dumped by the OCG. I guess the same reason they didn't weight it down the bottom of the harbour or set it on fire, to send a message.

They said earlier this series that they'd completely forgotten she was still in there (Terry's freezer)

Maybe it was leverage against someone, who's probably died recently so they didn't need it anymore.

Or maybe it's had a bit of Ted's DNA sprinkled on it frown

Plus it's a message sent to AC12 that the ocg have been one step ahead all along.

Very true, I'm always finding forgotten things in my freezer.

Good little theory circling that Lisa is DCI Gates & Jackie's lovechild, it would only work out if they'd been having an affair for years before S1 though

I'm sure its mentioned in S1 that they've been on/off for years...1989/1990 rings a bell, which would tie in with the theory.
