Can't wait for episode 10. I began watching it 3 nights ago and thought it was all there but I've got to wait until the 16th.. smile

I never watched the 4 series as I can't stand Chris Rock so it's been a while since I've seen Fargo.

I thought the end scene was a bit strange.

Every series pf Fargo has bat st crazy episodes. The last was one and there was another midway through. I know it's 'cool and all but when they produce episodes like 9- you realise how exquisite they can make them and how we are 2 down due to creative license...

Agreed about the weirdness of the last episode, could have easily ended it with ten minutes more run time duration in episode 9.

Still a very good season though I didn't like the blatent Kia product placement, found very jarring and it should have had an advertising warning imo.

Not sure about it being set in 2019 either, didn't seem to make much of a difference set wise so could have set it in present day (were the cars period correct)?

Last episode was indeed odd, not what I was expecting, but maybe that's the secret of the series. I thought there'd be a prolonged siege and battle, not a sickly American homely moralising.

Set in 2019, at least you knew who was US president when the m-i-l wanted military help for the Tillman ranch siege and had to call "The big orange idiot."

I was a bit upset or maybe more disappointed with the demise of Trooper Witt, thought he had more gumption about combat than that.

Moralising aside, ie good family values will win over bad family values the final part was a bit odd, but again think of the final scenes in S1, new family at home, Mum the new Chief, Husband bravery award and no question about killing Malvo, just imagine letting the IOPC loose on that one, daughter with a new Grandad, and Grandad with a bonus granddaughter to go ice fishing. Happy families.

Sorry to be that poster but the PH adopted situation on this is prior to the public broadcast date no spoilers. After the broadcast day, which was Wednesday this week for S5 Ep10 the finale, ie 2 days ago, then comment is free. If not seen it and don't want spoilers then best avoid social media.

Works for me.

I enjoyed it and loads better than S4. Munch was an interesting character but part of me thinks the story would of worked just as well without him in it

If Munch was the thing, I think it worked best with him in as anything was possible. Awesome character.

A man...... likes biscuits now! hehe

Enjoyed it overall, even though EP.10 was a bit weird and wasn't the tone I expected.

Convinced myself Munch had appeared in a different Fargo timeline, but not so.

He is vaguely similar in appearance to the deaf Mr Wrench in S1 and S3 and about as talkative.

Looking back at the original film, one loose end about which I'd occasionally wondered was what had happened to the briefcase full of money that had been buried in snow by the roadside courtesy of Carl played by Steve Buscemi.

Clearly that question was answered in season 1 with its discovery by Stavros. Who later returned it to the original site in the same way, buried in snow marked with an ice scraper.

So what happened to it?

Bet there's been quite a few drifting up and down various roads looking for something that never existed in real life.

Some thought a woman called Takako Konishi died while looking for the Fargo money. It turns out that wasn’t the case.

I guess that's the problem with kidding on they're true stories :-)
