This other presenter (not Glenister) - is he Mister Maker off CBeebies?

Parents of kids of a certain age will know who I mean!

Well it looks like SAAB certainly had a lot to do with the first ejector seats. If the information Wiki is correct it would appear that together with Heinkel SAAB developed the ejector seat, as we would know it, early on in WWII

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ejection_seat

Anyway, I'm enjoying this episode. biggrin

He might be a so called 'petrol head' but his delivery is so monotone that any passion is lost.

And to think he is allegedly in the running to present TG...

Four to six thousand - I'd take it at six but know it will go for a good deal more than that.

Yes, I saw that too. Restoration must have been done by Ikea. There's always something left over.

I wish they wouldn't make such a big thing out of the cars reaching "world record auction prices". It's so self-congratulatory and just a little big smug.

I was half watching but didn't they get the year wrong, did they say the "L" reg was 96, or did I imagine it.

Still to see the end, our son called half way, so recorded it.

Enjoyed that hugely.

What happened to the resto being a P1800 ?

BTW the 96 gearchange is easy to master after about 5 minutes.

Wheels shouldn't have been painted black,SAAB never did that.

Going to watch it again on +1
