Loved the first series.

This first episode of the second series started off very slowly, but as time went on and different events unfolded, it's clear that it is going to be well worth watching.

I never liked Sarah Lancashire in Coronation Street, but in this and "Last tango in Halifax" she has been excellent.

Tommy Lee Royce, locked up in prison has obviously put his infatuated girlfriend up to get revenge on Sarah Lancashire....

Good start - but did anyone else find the speech really muted/whispering? Having boosted the volume the title music was too loud...the perils of getting old, perhaps.

The girlfriend looks proper mental.

+1 Excellent first episode in the new series, no messing about straight into great storey line(s) (with some very familiar faces).

I couldn't hear a word Tommy Lee's girlfriend said to him during the prison visiting scene, but the closing scene (her standing outside Catherine's home) sent a shiver up my spine.

The bunny boiling make up counter assistant was Alan Partridge's girlfriend.

"Well Sonja, that was classic intercourse. So... thanks!"

I could not believe that she was 50! Obviously HP was a few years ago now, but even so, would not have guessed she was so old.

I know, I always though she was in her 20's when filming HP, rather than mid-late 30's.

Did I see Neville Longbottom (Matthew Lewis) in it, too, or was that my imagination?

Yes, Nevison fired him and he was later seen driving a Berlingo whilst chugging on vodka.

No issues with the sound. I think you are all deaf.

Can already see Sonia/Vicky being bumped by the detective covered up under the guise of a serial killer. Yes Tommy's girlfriend is a total fruitloop.

Also was I the only one to do a small sexwee at line of duty returning for a new series win!!!

I have extra speakers and a subwoofer for the TV and I noticed it as well, yet when the title music came on it was far too loud.

I also thought about using subtitles but I am also not as young as I used to be either, really enjoyed it though and looking forward to the next one.
