I may well be wrong, but isn't a young woman of 16 still considered a child in respect of sex offences?
Loved the birth in the lift - the doors are finally opened, and the paramedics hang back while Nick gawps as the proud father, Eva cries with joy etc.. I know childbirth is a lot safer these days than in 1417, but I fail to believe that the medics wouldn't have rushed straight in. That floor must have had more germs than Chernobyl. No sign of the umbilical cord being cut. Soap birth.....

16 is the legal age of consent, 18 if you're in a position of authority (teacher, for example). The irony being Bethany's mother hardly has room to criticise, she was pregnant at what, 14?Loved the birth in the lift - the doors are finally opened, and the paramedics hang back while Nick gawps as the proud father, Eva cries with joy etc.. I don't know the first thing about drugs, but surely Adam's stash in that small tin can't be worth £40k....can it?
I believe a kilo of coke can be bought from high end dealers for circa £22k, it sells on the street for £40+ a gram, in some cities it will be £60+, therefore £40k isn't unrealistic.(I had some dodgy friends and have an odd fascination with organised crime)

How did they get the power back on after Darryl the rat chewed through the cable?Loved the birth in the lift - the doors are finally opened, and the paramedics hang back while Nick gawps as the proud father, Eva cries with joy etc.. RIP Darryl btw.....
Surely any decent lift would have an auxiliary emergency power supply, but I suppose this was a "Corrie" lift.
They should have sent for Jack Nicholson, he would have had the doors open pronto....

Yes, RIP Darryl. Probably a better actor than some of the human cast.

Yes, you could see the hills of the Lleyn Peninsula in the background. That beach is just a couple of miles south of Ty Croes racetrack. Simon Gregson is a regular here in Anglesey - I think he has a holiday home or caravan in Trearddur Bay.
Thanks for that. I'm usually pretty good with coastlines but that had me stumped.
I did notice the hills in the background and suspected it would be North Wales somewhere, having just come back from holiday in Porthmadog and Caernarfon.
I couldn't really see the Corrie budget stretching to Devon or Scotland.
It must be very heart breaking to scatter a baby's ashes like that, I think I would opt to keep them on the mantelpiece personally, or is that weird?
I've told Mrs mwf that's where she's going, so I can talk to her anytime I want, but mine are going over the side of Ribblehead viaduct....

I wonder if you heard the tale about one of the builders who lost his hat over the edge. That baby looked about 3 months old, considering you can't put a tack where a nail's been chimpy Nick's got his work cut out if they stay together for long enough.
