It would seem that tonight's the night we finally find out who did the dirty on Ken.
A few loose ends are due to be tidied up in the next few days. (Thank goodness, we all sigh). Our moans about multiple plotlines will be satisfied. Quite frankly I don't care who did it, I'm just bored with the whole thing. I'm kind of hoping Peter doesn't get the pub though - it'll be interesting watching him fight the temptation , but it'll all end in disaster. I wouldn't be sorry to see the back of Adam and Daniel as I think they've been weak characters who haven't added anything to the show.If Daniel killed his mum Denise and buried her in the back garden of his flat, how come she was alive and well in Emmerdale? Well up until she had a heart attack:-)
By the way Toyah really gets on my wick. It was the same when she was in Casualty.

So to anyone that is confused by "Ken's" attack:-
Ken goes to his drawer to get a book that he thinks will be useful for Daniel's poetry exam next week.
When he opens the drawer the book is missing.
He thinks...Strange.......
Daniel says he lent it him, Ken is that confused he can't really remember doing so.
Daniel says "It's at my flat, i'll give it you back".
Daniel goes back to his flat, and retrieves the book from under the floorboards where he has hidden it.
This book has clearly got blood all over the top.
So:- He has been out and bought an identical book to give back to Ken, the trouble is there is a hand written message on the first index page.
He gets some tracing paper and transfers the message in the same handwriting to the "new" book and hands it back to Ken casually, as if nothing has happened.
Ergo, Daniel is the culprit and the book was the weapon.
He may have even borrowed Adam's red shoes in an attempt to implicate him.

They were Adams shoes. With Adam wearing them. He said he went to retrieve the money Amy had left and just walked past Ken on the floor after Daniel had attacked him.
Yes, I know that, Adam said so last night. I just wondered whether Daniel had borrowed them when he attacked Ken, put them back and Adam had put them on later when he went to get Amy's money......Oh, I can see I'm over thinking things here.....as you were....

Forget all the plots - just enjoy the sublime conversations between Brian and Roy - worthy of Alan Bennett.
Looks like the scriptwriters have been reading the supernatural threads in the lounge on PH. I'm sure Roy's script about the idiocy of Brian's beliefs were taken from one of my posts! TheGreatSoprendo said:
Clearly Daniel doesn't subscribe to the old adage 'the art of decoration is in the preparation'!
He seems to be attempting to paint the whole house in one day. Shoddy. He also appears to be a bit of a looney - what's with the blood-letting?Meanwhile Ken's shovel has hit something which sounded very wooden. Could be another Corrie actor.
When Nathan and Shona first appeared in Corrie their relationship was never properly explained. It's becoming clear now - presumably she was another of his employees who refused to go along with his plans. She's too old to have been one of his victims.
Great stuff this week. I'm looking forward to it all.

Yes, quite a good episode last night, Daniel is quite a troubled young man.
It has been reported in some papers that in "real life" his "boyfriend" is vicar Billy.

What would Albert Tatlock think?
Will Ken escape? Tune in tonight at 9pm.
