Eileen's driving experience has been in an electric Renault Zoe. yet she volunteers to drive Nicola's Alfa Mito - very adventurous.
What was all that about?Eileen: Are you fully insured?
Alfa girl: Yes
Eileen: ok, I'll drive.
How is Eileen going to be insured on the Alfa just because Alfa girl has it covered. She doesn't have it covered for Eileen.
Also, I'm no geneticist, but no way is Alfa girl made up of 50% of Phelan's DNA. That's like hearing that Kathy Staff is Liz Hurley's mum!

If Nicola has fully comp., then Eileen can drive on 3rd party only with Nicola's permission.
Nope. If Nicola has a DOC extension, Nicola can drive Eileen's car tpo. You've got it back to front. TwigtheWonderkid said:

In reality, those involved in the minibus crash would have been down to their compo specialist solicitor quicker than Aidan into Maria's knix. Not only that, but minor injuries would have been grossly exaggerated and there would have been "mental trauma, innit" on top. It's how they live down there in the twilight of minimum wage jobs - Sarah is a part-time barmaid, but never complains about the cost of nappies, nor about her "lost" £15k deposit.
I think I'll move to Weatherfield, everyone there seems so content.
Err , mate, hate to break this to you but ...how do I say this ? It's all made up.
Or is it ??? My wife , an Archers fan, tells me that there is a guerilla fan group which insist that the Archers is actually real life but the heinous BBC (and ,doubtless , what The Donald calls MSM) has been engaged in a six decade long cover up conspiracy. Which makes we Corrie fans sound almost normal .
Almost...

I may be wrong, but I suspect that the writers are middle-class Tristrams, and oblivious to the real world of the lower castes. They seem to have only a fleeting knowledge of what actually goes on with low-income families, and thus we see twice-daily visits to the Rovers, extended holidays, everyday purchases of items which are improbably affordable (Eva's clothes and shoes for example).

I laughed when the Stephen French inspired Scouse drug dealer 'threatened' Robert with telling people he used to do drugs. Because of course in the world of Corrie the only drug users are those the plot requires. In reality it'd be "so? Everyone's snorting lines in the bistro toilets every weekend"In reality, those involved in the minibus crash would have been down to their compo specialist solicitor quicker than Aidan into Maria's knix. Poor Ches - I wasn't expecting that, and the episodes were all the better for it. Thank goodness the tabloids didn't forewarn us this time.
.
It gave Ches the opportunity to showcase his superb gurning capabilities..
"Online Login" I suppose is his Amazon password. Eva's having a fun day.

That Adam's a bad lot. I wouldn't like to be in his shoes when Tracy gets wind of his dastardly scheme.
She's done time for murder....
But she was later acquitted, as she was completely innocent. She's done time for murder....

One thing if anyone can clear it up, in case I missed this little detail. Roberts ex drug associate last night said to him 'does she (Michelle) know about so and so? (a female name beginning with C, Caroline, Christine??)
Does anyone have a suggestion who this is? Maybe a lovechild or something?
