Robert's reaction to the possibilty of compo for Ches is a bit odd. Surely he has business insurance which would include public liability , probably up to £1m. I'm pretty sure Nick would have arranged it. He was pretty businesslike, and Robert would have taken over an existing policy, unless of course he was so tight-fisted that he cancelled the cover.
So yet again another "soap" storyline.
Will the wedding of the year take place? I suspect not - Norris is too fond of Rita. He'll come to his senses.

Away from current affairs on the Street, I have been musing over a conundrum. Where do all the cars go?
Whenever we see outside scenes in Corrie, there are hardly ever any parked cars in the street. You'd think that not only the residents would park there, but other people who commuted to the area daily to work in other businesses. We sometimes see Tracy's van outside her shop, and Tim's van outside his house, but what about the others?
Working down the Street - Peter at the Rovers had a Mondeo. Where is it now? Did he sell it to finance the purchase of the pub?
Ken's Matrix. Where does he keep it?
Norris - no car, yet he goes to the cash and carry. Does he use Rita's? Where does she keep it?
Ches - no car household.
Dev - had a Saab convertible. We never see it now.
Ty - last car I remember was a Mk1 Focus. Where is it parked?
Eileen - that Zoe she "won". Never see it.
Kevin - Yaris, but we never otherwise see it.
Adam/Daniel - no car. We have never heard any more about the Jag hire car he "sold" to his mate.
Other side of the Street - Audrey. She goes to work in her Peugeot 207, Where is it?
Maria - has a Ford StreetKa. Never see it.
Sally/Tim - van usually visible.
Yasmeen - no car. But where is Zeedan's food van? Seems to have been a forgotten storyline.

Presumably Victoria Court has some sort of underground park for Johnny's Jag XJS, and Nick would have used it for his cars. Does Aidan keep the invisible pink Evoque down there as well? He must walk to work, so where is it kept?

I ask this question out loud at home when ever it cross my mind(usually every few weeks). The answer from my lot is usually "Dad, its a soap, it doesn't matter".Still bugs me though.

Everybody else in the Street seems to have a vanishing garage - if I didn't know better I'd say it was to leave the street clear of obstruction for filming purposes. Like the TV is never on when neighbours call round, so you can have a conversation without raising voices.
