Was tonight's 8.30 episode one of the worst ever? Wooden acting award is a joint winner between Wooden Will and Lady of the Law Rosie!!!
The whole episode was nonsense. Just farcical rubbish. I said to the wife we just needed a custard pie fight to finish it off.

Not the best thought-out content, even by soap standards. I was also wondering about Shona and her plan for the Clayton Trust. So far Todd hasn't even asked her how she's going to pay his fees. If she intends to invest the full £6k, what about the setting-up costs? Presumably Legal Aid, aka the decent taxpayer.

I think it's highly socially irresponsible to have soap characters winning large amounts on scratch cards. Kevin won £200K, now Shona has one £6K. There''ll be a decent proportion of Corrie viewers who aren't clevva like what I is, and will come away thinking scratch cards are worth buying.

I doubt there's another small street in the whole country where 2 people have won over £5K.

It happens all the time, see below

It's like car insurance... after the first accident on a street, a second is actually more likely to occur wink

Is Barbara Knox leaving the Street? This dementia storyline can only go one way, and that's a nursing home.

Being 6ft under isn't going to do Andy's septic arm a lot of good..........

I believe that BK is leaving, but apparently it's not dementia. I won't say any more if you don't want to know, but I'm sure you could Google it easily enough.

Gemma is brilliant.
I think her career before Corrie must have been entirely in pantomime

This really pisses me off!!!! Someone needs to remind ITV that they have four bloody channels, put the footy on one of them instead. Surely less people watching Katie Price's Shopping Diaries or Spa Wars than Corry!! Does. My. Nut. IN!!!!

Heads up though, it's on Sunday instead.

Four days without Gemma's muffin-top?

Mystic Meg* reckons Andy's future is organised this coming week. The lad could do with a quarter-pounder.

Enjoy it tonight guys as tomorrow is another footie night.

It's bad enough losing Corrie when these footie games are on, but just to rub salt into the wounds, up here in Scotland they show the England games despite Scotland playing at the same time frown

Great line already. Kirk on applying to be Weatherfield County's mascot - "do you have to be an idiot or can anyone apply?"

The mascot storyline could be a great source for Corrie humour.

PS what's up with Rana? Does she have secret Sapphic desires?

I really do hope they pitch Kirk (Buzzer) against Sally for Mayor. There would be so much opportunity for funnies smile
