Neighbour is hearing 'noises coming from the house'.

That'd be that big, modern, detached house would it?
So the neighbour hears Steve and Leanne sneaking round the house, but somehow missed Will shouting, Leanne falling down stairs, Michelle screaming and the bedroom door being broken down. Hmmm..... scratchchin

Oh, and receptionist Moira's 'acting' is nearly as good as Will's laugh

Well, the line in the Cafe the other night when Moira asked Liz if she wanted an 'iced finger' was the giveaway.... wink

I've known that joke for about 50+ years, and I'd never noticed that before! You're never too old ....etc.........
Reminds me of that other old joke.
I asked the wife for a 68.
What's that she says
Give me a BJ and I'll owe you one

My coat is already on ...
I always thought the boat joke was Numbers 9 & 6. It works that way.

As for the 69, after one's wife completes the activity and asked what she should do now. You ask for another 68 of those please.

Strange that "wife" was used, in this context, as I thought that the best way to stop a woman from giving you a blow job was to marry her.

When I first heard the joke (about 60 years ago) it was boats 19 and 61

'Moira' was terrific in the Archers as Helen , on a long and taxing story line (abuse and violence etc ) but she is hopeless on TV ,Big lass too- Helen always sounded more ..umm...willowy .

So the so called "con man" thinks its a great idea to meet a client in the local pub next to where his wife works! Maybe its a double con so his "wife" can get into bed with Liz and con more money out of her. After all she is a very wealthy woman!!! Could end up with more fisticuffs from Steve!
Hopefully Wooden Will is off to take acting lessons from Helen Flannigan's acting coach!

Sad to hear of the passing of Liz Dawn, I loved her and jacks relationship full of comedy and pathos. Here's my favourite scene with them Jack and Vera's last dance together.

It will get dusty watching this

Indeed, although unfortunately, she has been on borrowed time for many years...cry

Some fantastic acting in that clip, together with beautiful music from Matt Monro..(Ex London bus driver Terry Parsons)

Knutty had a good swansong in Benidorm but as that program seems to have a death curse I am concerned for Jonny Vegas!

Based on the last series of Benidorm, they certainly didn't die laughing smile
