There was a bucket near the toilet roll, but neither of them seems affected by the inevitable stench. It can't be far from where he is chained, so I reckon it's supposed to be this bucket, but it's all bit unlikely.

Good that no rats or other vermin seem to have found the derelict house yet. When Phelan visits he never seems to do any bucket emptying just throws a sandwich at Andy, has a chat and leaves.

Throwing this open to debate for forum regulars.......

Personally, I now think Corrie has become too big...what I mean by that is several years ago, there usually was a core of three main storylines going on simultaneously, using say ten of fifteen actors, plus a few extras to make up the numbers.....

+1 regarding the number of storylines most of which just seem to peter out or get forgotten after a few weeks.

And in answer to your original question, yes we need a cull not only on characters but story lines as well

To be fair, they are just characters passing through, although I hope Vic Reeves (Jim Moir) sticks around, he will be a good addition to the cast.

I agree regarding Jim Moir as his character could be really good especially if we end up losing Rita, Gemma and Norris.

I agree it's time to get some stupid storylines wrapped up and disposed of. Introducing new characters is a traditional way of sparking new interest, but if you don't get rid of some at the same time, you get what's happening now. Moira wasn't necessary and doesn't fit the ethos of the programme, and to some extent the same applies to Nicola. Definitely Mary's son and his family should clear off back to SA. The only person I want to see added is Mary's mum. They could do a spin-off of her daily life on the lines of Mary's "I remember when mother.........". Classic stuff.
