I don't think Pat did either. I reckon he surprised himself there. His soft side has gone forever I suspect. Can't wait now to see how he frames Anna- at the moment I can't think of a connection between herself and the solicitors office.nicanary said:

When Eileen was first told the derelict house was going to be her new home she was totally made up and couldn't wait. She kept wanting to go round and plan things.
Now she mysteriously never mentions it, which is very convenient for the scriptwriters.
He can now crack on doing it up now Andy and Vinny have departed......Now she mysteriously never mentions it, which is very convenient for the scriptwriters.

“Are We Human” on the jukebox as Phelan clinks his Prosecco
I was thinking more of the artists - The Killers!I mentioned to the Mrs that the music would be mentioned on here. There was a coincidental song playing in the van aswell but she's watching misereastenders now so can't put it on!

Eileen and Nicola tried to break into the house didn’t they and Pat warned them not to go there again. Probably the reason that Eileen now just leaves Pat to get on with it.Now she mysteriously never mentions it, which is very convenient for the scriptwriters.

It may be my poor memory, but was it revealed what Pat had done with Vinny's mum?As a casual viewer, I actually had to stop what I was watching and watch the Phelan scenes last night. They were very good.
I actually thought giving the gun to Andy was a test and there was only one bullet in it, Phelan testing him again like he did when he 'crashed' the van.
Poor Andy though, after all that, I really wanted him to pull the trigger.
It was pretty dark tbh, very well executed (excuse the pun)

Pat's now off on holiday with a nice clear conscience. Bet he sleeps well at night.
Assuming he's away for at least a week/two weeks, then now's the opportunity for Daniel to up his game. A clear field so to speak. Plenty of time for deep investigation - maybe a chat with the disillusioned Nicola. (In Corrie. they all seem to have every neighbour's phone number readily to hand).
I hope so, anyway. I love Pat's villain, but enough is enough.
PS. I've been a bit slow on the uptake in recent times (senility) but answer me this. Vinny gave Pat a wad of cash this week in compensation, but didn't Pat have rolls of cash in his safe last week, which Seb possibly saw? Where did that come from?

All he said was she was "safe".I'm sure she will be OK, Pat had no reason to harm her.
Where did Phelan dispose of the bodies?
He seemed to be standing near a stream/river.
I think he will get away with it, nobody knows where Andy or Vinny are, Andy is supposed to be in Bristol somewhere and there is no connection linking either of them to Pat.

Prior to Vinny getting kidnapped by Pat wasn't he watching Pat and co and rang his henchman saying "We're going to have to go to plan B"?
I think there's more to come for Pat yet
Yes, he may not be out of the woods yet.I think there's more to come for Pat yet
When his henchman realises Vinny is suddenly nowhere to be seen, it does not take Sherlock Holmes to put 2 and 2 together, but he has no proof and can't go to the police without implicating himself.
