More wooden acting from Gemma's new (short lived) boyfriend.

Where do they get 'em?

Those 2 policemen appear to be straight out of a primary school production. They couldn't be any less realistic if they said "ello ello ello, what's all this then?"
At least they said something, which is more than Anna',s lawyer! She is digging herself a bigger and bigger hole with the 2 woodentops and the lawyer just sits there. Another dumb storyline with zero credibility. Who writes this crap?
Talking of which Adam plans on altering a contract. Does Colin not have a copy as it is usual for both parties to a contract to retain a copy each. It helps stop fraud by a dodgy lawyer!

He was terrible. Makes you appreciate how good most of the regular cast are (with one or two exceptions).

Hate to say this but its been terrible this week. Utter tripe. This earing planting is so farcical. Dont the police ask the 3 people who work at the solicitors 'Have you seen pat phelan come in here'!

The police like in most soaps jump the gun with little evidence and are judge and jury.

Quite so. At no point have they ascertained who was present in the office at the time - mind you, asking Rosie would be like talking to wet cardboard. Would a solicitor's office be open to the public in that way? If it's upstairs, surely the door would be locked and there'd be an intercom for entry?

iandc is on the money with the proposed amendment to the contract. Ridiculous plan. I suppose the writers assume that Corrie viewers are dumb monkeys who don't know about these things. He'll be struck off if he's found out.

Can't really see why Kevin stays with Anna tbh, all they seem to do is argue, and their sex life seems to be non existent.

Did Phelan actually rape her from a legal viewpoint? .

It could be argued that it was a business "arrangement" and she went along with the dastardly deed....(Albeit reluctantly).

I think the Weatherfield police should open up a permanent station on the street, they seem to be investigating something or other most days, would save a fortune on petrol with all the cutbacks.

I've just remembered another thing - Craig polices his own street. I don't think any force allows that. Officers are usually allocated an area away from friends and family in case there's a conflict of interests.

Yes to save on extra actors Craig now polices every event on the street. A bit like the same doctor is at the medical centre. Or if she is busy people go to Rana for a medical diagnosis.
Wednesday's episode was particularly rubbish. I was actually wanting it to hurry up and end it was that bad.

Moira and Colin SOOOOO need to get it on, they'd be such a great comedy pair. Love how Moira got jealous at Rosie getting his attention peacocking in The Kabin.

My thoughts too, but I think Colin has blown it with Moira now.

Wonder how Adam and Todd are going to talk their way out of this one??

Might get myself a subscription to Slacks magazine. They’re all reading it in the street.

The name suggests "comfy" trousers with elasticated waistbands in a nice inoffensive taupe colour. The sort you see advertised in the back of Sunday supplements at £30 for 2 pairs, together with velcro-strapped wide-fitting casual shoes and tartan zip-up slippers.

Odd choice of title by the Corrie staff for a fashion magazine.

The "Rita contract" story fizzled out somewhat. What's Colin's game? Fake staff to lessen his tax bill, or is he laundering for his mates?

So Adian looked at the dodgy contract in the solicitors office for all of three seconds before Rosie snatched it off him and read all the minute details?...Yeah, right.

Has Joseph actually uttered a single word yet?

Some much better scripts for tonight's episodes.

I'm loving the Colin character. Hope Jim Moir sticks around for a while.

Yes, he's been excellent, plenty of scope for some future comedy.

Now, regarding the compo....

£80,000?

This is for a large factory completely gutted, all the equipment, fixtures and fittings, stock, loss of business.....

A few industrial sewing machines would be worth more than that., and how long is that going to last Johnny in Spain before Jenny gets his hands on his credit card?

I've no sympathy for Aidan, he had it all, factory, flash car, Eva, and decided to risk it all going with that brain dead trollop Maria. His brains were definitely in his pants. He looks a broken man, difficult to see how he can recover.

You've forgotten that Adam, in cahoots with Eva, arranged for all the machinery and fittings to be stolen The insurance refused to pay out for that because it was an inside job.
