I see "Fiz" is going to be a contestant on next weeks I'm a celebrity (Get me out of here) down in Oz.

Apparently they get 50k each for being on the show, so that should solve her money worries biggrin

They all lose a couple of stone as well. Wouldn't do any harm. Just saying.

Let me get this clear in my head. Billy, having thumped Peter, is so overcome with remorse that he goes to the police to confess. But armed robbery, and killing someone in a hit and run...nah, that he quite happily keeps to himself.

Ffs!

I'm guessing life's about to get tough for Anna. Phelan won't take this lying down - I reckon in his mind Anna's to blame for everything that's going wrong for him.

Ty and Fiz are a bit dumb spending money like this - the trampoline and dinner at the bistro. It'll all end in tears, I tell you.

Daniel's running and throwing himself over the bonnet of the bistro van was a bit, er, dramatic biggrin

Has anybody commented about Robert's sudden change of hair colour, other than Michelle who referred to him in the big house as her "silver fox" ?

The staff at the bistro did when he first went back. I think Kate also called him silver fox.

But nobody has commented on the dark oak skin colour! When Robert was standing next to Daniel before their run it was Daniel who looked like he has been locked up for months.

Robert has always had darker skin and Daniel has always been pasty, they'd look pretty weird if they swapped on screen skin tones.

Again to be fair that isn't what happened. Billy was clearly strongly coerced into keeping his mouth shut, was very much against it and it upset him. Left to his own devices he would have confessed, just like he did to giving Peter a shiner.
He does need to lose his job and be stripped of his title though.

I appreciate Coronation Street is Granada TV's big cash cow, and it has to keep it's ratings up, but really the current focus on crime has gone completely over the top, in the old days the only recorded crime was when Emily Bishop (nee Nugent, nee Swain) handed in her library book two days late and incurred a fine.

Somewhere in the middle would be good.

Katie's "you're married and I'm drunk, but in the morning I'll be sober...." was taken almost directly from a quip by Winston Churchill.

So let's get this right.......scratchchin

Gemma happens to point out that Norris polishes his glasses like Colin by breathing on them and polishing them off (Like a couple of million other people) furthermore, he spent two weeks in Darlington in 1961 on business, ergo he is Colin's dad.

Errr OK.

Why oh why do the writers inundate the script with social issues? Now we've got testicular cancer to add to everything else. Can't we just have some everyday life and everyday banter?

Well to be fair, testicular cancer is everyday life, and if it encourages people to go and see a doc, I have no issues there, but yes, I get your drift.
