Is that all you have got to think about when poor Luke is a pile of charred ash?You should be ashamed of yourself.
Go and give your head a wobble.
Mamma!
Rosie isn't shy either but her face gives me the shivers.
Well - another couple of cracking episodes, spoiled only by some poor acting. Not enough shock, too much enforced tears.
The "whip-round" amused me. Seems to be almost compulsory in these situations. Reminded me of an ancient episode in Brookside, when someone had died (may have been a child, so forgive me for my heartlessness) and Sinbad organised a whip-round. The middle-class professional couple (can't remember names, but the wife had a mastectomy) queried this with "yes, but what's it FOR?" and this sums up my attitude also.
A murder, a grieving girlfriend, mates in shock, and they hand Alya a beer mug with £80 in assorted notes and change. Thanks friends, I feel a whole lot better.........
(PS A Rav-4 as a courtesy car? Odd choice. Soap choice.)

In theory the bullets smashing a hole in the tank would make it leak and possibly create enough heat to create vapour. A spark generated from another bullet hitting steel could then ignite it. Or fuel leaking onto exhaust?
Still a very tenuous link though!
Is it possible that there was a fuel leak from the original crash?Still a very tenuous link though!

I like the way Tim stands up to Phelan. I don't think Pat likes anyone that shows him disrespect and it probably rankles.
They've already mentioned that the enquiries could take months, which suggests that viewers are being warned that the storyline will go on for some time to come. Good. I hope Seb survives! Hell hath no fury like a Phelan scorned.
PS What is a vigil? I always thought it was when family stayed by the bedside of someone who was critically ill, not the weird ceremony we saw tonight. Am I missing something? Is this common up north? I find it very cringeworthy, and quite frankly a bit pointless. Surely a funeral is for grieving, although I suppose the vigil was a sort of token acknowledgement that the funeral was going to be delayed.

Well finally dopy Eileen has faced reality, it's really rankled how she has always thought the sun has shine out of Phelan's arse...stupid bint.
What's Gemma's new "friend" up to? No good I'll wager...
Should be an interesting prison meeting between Eillen and Anna..no doubt Phelan will be number one on the agenda....
Can Pat talk his way out of this one??

Vigils- often held after somebody has been murdered, especially if they live in some hell hole of an estate . Vigils involve people who may be neighbours, but have probably not talked nor possibly even met before, gathering together in a mass display of public virtue signalling involving candles, cheap music and trite messages written on cheap cards and stuck to Shell Station flowers and Poundshop Teddies . Despite never having been near a church (at least not since since the last murder) they proclaim that God is looking after the deceased , who is newly elevated to angel status , is a new shining star in heaven etc . Which comes as a surprise to the people who have been buying drugs from and/or being beaten up by the deceased..TV crews love vigils as they are cheap to film and there's no shortage of people anxious to out -emote that bd from number 15 , who last time got on Look North twice with an Olympic standard of carefully rehearsed sobbing .
Or is that too cynical ?

Thanks coppice - nice to know I'm not alone.
With all the goings-on in the Street, it's easy to overlook Bethany's private life. What was that mysterious text she received, and were the naughty nix for her or a present for a friend? Has she turned to the dark side?
