It seems that Corrie's present obssession with tackling social issues shows no signs of abating. In just one 30-minute episode it has become clear that Craig has some sort of OCD, Bethany has self-worth issues (I think there's probably a medical term for what she's doing ) and it looks like the delicious Eva has symptoms of something nasty.

All this on top of murder, sexuality issues, unemployment, relationship problems, you name it. How do they fit it all in?

I'd say she was pregnant with Aiden's baby. In the run up to the weeding, knowing she was stitching him up, she was trying to find excuses not to fk, but she admitted to Leanne that she'd run out of excuses just before the wedding.

Maybe Anna is part genius, part lunatic. The genius is she can store and recall numerous phone numbers at will, the lunatic part is every time she opens her mouth and screams at everyone!

ITV showed a trailer for Corrie last night during an ad break, and I wasn't fully concentrating as is my wont. I believe it was attempting to engender interest in the Phelan/Luke/Anna/Eileen combination and at one point showed Pat being driven off in a police car. No doubt a red herring by Corrie - probably just routine questioning. Is the net closing in? Has Pat been rumbled? Did he fail to cover his tracks somewhere along the line?

Could be some good stuff in the next few weeks. Especially if Bethany continues to work at the Palais des Hommes Anciens et Sales.
