If the latter, why would you give Billy (relatively) harmless paracetamol?
To cause him pain and suffering?

I'm not 100% sure what's happening yet as I've not watched Wednesdays Corrie...

It won't help as it is yet another daft "social issue" storyline!
Do the producers have a "social issue of the day" editor to help them with these never ending new storylines. It's getting a bit tedious as the plots are so stupid then they just fizzle out.

I agree with the above - I ranted a bit about the Anna court case for all the obvious reasons, not least of all the fact that noone from the "law firm" seems to have been interviewed: "Did you see Anna in here" or anything about CCTV that MUST be around.

Not to mention the worst strip club in the world - And Gary, who was working doing special protection, getting beaten up by 2 bouncers - And **screams** he touched me, "let's look at the CCTV shall we - And what, no background checks for age??? Uuurgh

I am, however, continuing to enjoy Pat Phelan's manipulation of everyone - It will be a sad day when he leaves. I do, however, wonder when the bodies will surface as that will be one of the few ways that this will all start to unravel...

He's replacing the morphine with paracetamol. I thought he was trying to OD him on paracetamol at first but couldn't work out how Billy would be taking enough morphine to cause problems when replaced with paracetamol, But maybe he's just trying to make him suffer by replacing strong pain killers with weaker ones? Bit lame really.

The Eva/Toyah baby thing is lazy story writing. Toyah has the baby, then 12 months down the line Aidan finds out then they take it off her and get back together.

I wasnt surprised Corrie didnt win any NTA awards. Though to be honest Corrie, Hollyoaks and Emmerdale have all merged in to one watching those clips they play when then awards are given out.

Not a spoiler here, but guess work. Am I the only one seeing that the plan shall arise will be Eva giving the baby to Peter and Toya?

Shame, poor mite. Missing out on those mammaries.

I saw it as Eva giving birth, not giving it up and running off with Aidan...

Like - Norris.

(Also like Gina for some odd reason. I quite like a nutter.)

More or less agree with the OP's list. Toyah and Peter are all wrong for the Rovers. Wrong types to run a pub and don't seem to fit in at all now. I wish Simon would do a runner, but I like Amy being a chip off her mother's block. Gail is past her sell-by date.

What about Mary? Surely she needs to stay, along with her Mother quips?

Didn't the actress that plays Bethany win one for her performance?

Yes sorry, I forgot about Mary, of course she must stay, and I omitted Simon from my dislike one, nasty piece of work.

I like everyone apart from:

tyrone
fizz
simon
kate
jenny
rosie
izzy
chesney
billy
jude + angie
the police

The above are weak characters and the actors who portray them are not old skool Corrie standard.

Very convenient for Adam that the paracetamol capsules were the same shape and colour as Bill'ys morphine.
Its a bit of a cockup as tablets / capsules are not allowed to look the same. They all have different colours or markings so that they can be identified even if there is no packaging.

Aaah but in the Corrie Universe things like that get in the way of a crap story so best left out.

I've been off work after having a minor heart op and as I drive for a living my insurance company wont let me drive for work for a few weeks, whilst I've been off I had the chance to watch a few episodes of classic Coronation Street on ITV3 worth a watch if you've forgotten some characters and storylines.

I'm sure everyone on here wishes you a full and speedy recovery..smile

Yes, it's quite interesting watching old episodes, even from only ten years back, the age of innocence, no drugs, rape, arson, grooming etc.

I bet Nicola was planted by Gary. And judging by Pat’s facial expression when Gary and Nicola were ‘arguing’, Pat saw through the charade already.

Also Audrey: ‘..... this was the spot where I had my first courgette....... ‘. laughlaugh
