The girls probably pay the club to work there! They will be “self employed” (on benefits!) and work with the punters to earn money and then pay a percentage to the club.
Of course they will make their own arrangements to deal with the tax man!

Pat Phelan is manna from heaven for the Corrie writers. I suspect he'll be around for some time to come. One part of me wants him to get caught and shown up for the evil bas*ard he is, and another part of me loves to watch his villainy. I can't decide what I want to happen.

It was. She didn't look for it until after Luke was bumped off, by which point, Seb had put his paw prints all over it and Pat had disposed of it.
