I'm so bored of Billy now. he's turning in to a male equivalent of Anna, always making the wrong life decision.

He's just too weak, his life story is ridiculous. Just a waste of space and story time in Corrie. Crap actor as well.
I found the drugs situation a bit puzzling. I thought Adam was replacing Billy's official medication with less strong doses of paracetamol, in order to prolong the pain. Now he's supposed to be addicted to the drugs he's taking - has Adam changed the paracetamol for something a bit dodgy?

I cant stand the soaps,
do men watch them?

is it usually pensioners and ladies watch them?
the whole lot of the soaps have gone daft,
they were best in the 80s

Wasn't there some sort of "swapped at birth" storyline where it turned out Ryan wasn't her real son, but they decided to stay as they were rather than swap back?
^^^THIS.

Bloke turned up in pub, claimed to be Ryan's dad, and said his son Alex wasn't his. Mix up in maternity ward. DNA tests done, turned out to be true. Ryan isn't Michelle's but Alex is.

Corrie is a comedy, not a soap, hence the enjoyment factor. Oh and the baps, don't forget the baps..

Thanks for that penetrating insight. Thought of a career in TV criticism ?

WR going all Pat Phelan there......

I suspect the guy has been on every thread of every forum posting something negative. There really are people like that.

Typical Corrie last night. The "Fun Run" was excruciatingly poor, and the Ty and Sean dinner was brilliant. When's the boxing night? I don't recall any sort of build-up to the fun run, yet kapow there it is as if we all knew about it.
+1. ‘Run for your wives’ came out from nowhere; no build-up. Perhaps the writers ran out of ideas for Robert’s proposal scene?

I don’t want too many TV dramas but Pat Phelan is quite possibly the best TV character (and played by the finest actor) on TV right now.

Edit to add; Rosie was carrying a huge CO-OP bag on Wednesday. No sign of Costa cup yet. biggrin

We've frequently discussed the size of the houses in the street, but I've just realised that Maria's flat is a veritable Tardis. It's above the salon, which has quite a small footprint, yet we've got Maria in one bedroom, presumably Liam has his own, Beth and Kirk must have their own, and if Craig isn't sleeping on the sofa there must be a fourth. Plus Peanut in the equation. That's mighty busy.

The Billy storyline is getting beyond pathetic. I assume his church and parishioners are looking after themselves whilst he suffers at home with pain so bad he should be in hospital. Perhaps his heart will give up after all the heavy breathing!
