You should get out more- even an old git like me enjoys Stormzy ....
I'm an old git too and I do love a bit of Rag 'N' Bone man smile

With regards to Billy's storyline, a drink of Venos or Benylin picks me up so I can only imagine what a little bit of Methadone would do eek
A lad I worked with a few years ago had been prescribed 30mls a day to keep him from withdrawing. He had a pretty average Opiate habit and that's a common amount, although by no means the most prescribed. Anyway, his younger brother (12 I think) found the bottle and drank it, OD'd and didn't survive. Even with Billy's ''pain killer habit'' he wouldn't have the tolerance for the swigs he's been taking and he'd be well and truly wkered, not doing the dusting and being Dad of the year.

Wonder what Pat's next move will be? Would he risk harm to his future grandchild? Doubt it, so he'll have to keep his temper in check. The time to drain the millpond is fast approaching, I think he was on a deadline (no pun) for that.

Plus nobody seems to be investigating him any more. There was a time when Andy, then Steph, then Daniel were looking into his background. Now nothing - you'd think the plod would still be interested in the flats scam. Even though Pat was ripped-off by Vinny, surely the police would like to know why Pat was "building" on land that didn't belong to either of them? As usual in soap land, the whole case is just dropped - too busy having a cuppa in Roy's cafe.

Forget serial killers and fraud. Just focus on under age lap dancers and calls from suspicious neighbours. I guess Corrie is mirroring real life then after all!!

My mate is an ex smackhead and years ago, prior to him passing his driving test, I used to run him to the chemist for his dose of methadone. He was always like a completely different person afterwards, and not in a good way.

What’s bugging the (more than usual) sour-faced Jenny then?

Although her move to Spain has been postponed by 3 months, I think she is maybe realising it's not going to happen plus she's probably jealous of not being thr centre of attention

I'm bored with the Phelan story line. Wish they would close it off. Surely they will not wait until Christmas.

Someone please remind me where the wheels fell off with Sarah and Garry getting back together? They borked, she said she wanted him back, now it's off and icy between them. Did I miss a key scene?

I think the writers have painted themselves into a corner. They don’t want to get rid of Pat but know they will have to. The finest actor on the show right now.

Nice to see Amy have some good materials to work with; very funny yesterday.

RE Jenny, she’s realised she will always be an outsider in the Conner clan. Will she and Kev get together?!!?

She saw him with the pregnant one (Nicola I think) getting in a car with her or something like that - he was with Nic as they were hiding Seb etc and planning Phelan downfall.
Note how the regulars are very sparse right now - Dev, Norris, Rita, Mary etc all proper Corry characters crushed by the Emmerdaleisation agenda.

I have to agree with you about Pat Phelan. Common sense says he's bound to get caught out at some time in the near future, which is actually a shame because he's such a cracking character. Having said which, I'm really looking forward to the denouement. I hope the writers don't chicken out and just have him pack a bag and get a plane.

When oh when are they going to drain that pond? It's Pat who's been detailed to do it, but surely he'd need several more workers to assist?

Phelan is a real dilemma for the scriptwriters. As I said before, he's too good a baddie to lose from the show.

In a "Dr. Bickleigh" style twist of fate Phelan will go down for a murder he didn't commit.
Probably Callum or Edna Hargreaves.

Or kill himself whilst attempting to fake his own death.

Probably both.
