Alex is brilliant. Much under utilised by the writers. I have a Downs sister, she couldn't act out a one line scene without making it a dogs dinner.
Eva's about to give birth, any chance they're going to let us see Eva's minge? Sorry, too much! Nice Jack Nicholson reference smashing the door in.

Exactly - no spoilers! Mind you , I knew already when John Humphrys mentioned it on R4 Today programme just now . Damn him .

B*gger! I deliberately keep away from trash magazines and DM sidebars etc. in order to have an open mind when dramatic events happen. I would like to point out to the members of this thread that not all of us arrange our lives the same as others smile. No real harm done. Summer is going to be a tad upset.

Mind you, Eva's up for grabs now.

Note to Wacky Racer - bring this lot to order.........

PS I just read that (apart from Hayley, a different proposition altogether) the last suicide on the Street was Katy Harris in 2005. Who? I had to look it up. and then vaguely remembered the diabetes storyline, but nothing about her family. Goes to show how transient it all is, forgetting completely a family from only 13 years ago. Such is the frothy nothingness of TV soaps.

So we have some Radio 4 listeners amongst us eh?

I always said this was a highbrow thread, with regulars a cut above the usual PH rabble.

Indeed. NO SPOILERS PLEASE. teacher

I didn't even know about this suicide storyline.

Not the end of the world, but many listers (including myself) prefer not to know what is going to happen.

If you happen to see a forthcoming plot on the front cover of TV weekly in Tesco, there's not really much you can do about that, I accept.

One could always purchase one’s groceries at Waitrose wink (or via Ocado)

I've never been in Tesco in my life, I'm only going off what people tell me.

The Mary dinner party wasn't as embarassing as I expected, but was still farcical. Glad the truth is out at last. Let's all move on.

Loved Kirk's negotiatng skills. Has he found his vocation at last? Training dogs that is, not negotiating.

Anyone able to tell me how many times the words 'Tamworth' and 'Marine Biologist' were said? I guess 462.

Great 2nd episode. Back to the corrie i love. All good apart from Jude acting a bit crap. His wife is equally as bad.

It seems to me that the ratio of crap actors to good ones is increasing quite frequently.

He and his sis have history in that department, don't you remember?
I'm not sure we'll be 'moving on' either, some ripples sent out from that are still to have an effect! It is a ridiculous story line, how the heck can you be married to someone who should be on a large salary, yet only brings home £250 a week?!

I wish people would ps off with this spoiler thing, I deliberately haven't read the last page or two from this thread.
