Didn't see that one coming. My first thought was Eva or even Eva's sprog. I suppose he didn't realise that he was going to get 100% of the factory, and thought Alya would make good use of her small inherited share. Funny that he forgot to change his will.
(Maybe he did and it's in a Tupperware container under his bed )

Giving the factory to Alya...
I think you’re right.Tricky one isn’t it? As Michelle said Aidan wrote the will when he only had a small proportion of the factory.....
If I was Michelle, I would burn the will.

Please explain how Sophie and Aidan became best mates.
They didn't bring enough detail in to that angle. I wondered (before I knew of the suicide script) if Aiden and Sophie were going to get it on, a questioning her sexuality story, but, it was too sporadic to be believable. Edited by Fermit The Krog and Sexy Sarah on Monday 14th May 22:42

As much as I don't like Michelle, I don't think she would stoop so low.I'm finding the storylines rather complicated at the moment, with a few things not making any sense at all.
I've said it before, but there needs to be a cull and about ten characters need to go sharpish.
Where's Phelan when you want him?
I agree with everyone that Aidan's departure and the relative involvements of others is confusing. It's almost like the scenario was sprung on the writers and plot-makers at the last minute, and they had to rustle up a storyline in haste. The Sophie/Aidan last text makes no sense.
I'm pretty sure the Connor family could contest the will in any case - it was written prior to Carla bequeathing 100% of the business and Aidan's state of mind is now known to have been unstable at the time. Maybe the writers are planning Court battles for the future.
"That" trailer is daft. All of Phelan's enemies huddled in a group in the middle of the street with moody lighting and scary music. Still - bring it on!

Aiden was best mates with everyone, giving out gifts, telling everyone they were great, out saving lives and polar bears every night in the month leading up to it, didn't you notice?DSLiverpool said:
