I'm not quite sure how Phelan managed to lose his gag with his hands tied behind his back, buit never mind. Top work Jack. Top work.

The last scene reminded me of the twins, Chloe and Radcliffe, taunting the farmer's wife shagging scarecrow on the League of Gentleman. Him expecting help and not getting any.

Nicola’s baby is huge for a ‘two-day old’.

Alya’s reaction was remarkably clam wasn’t it? When Josh told her that he had slept with David. Or that she’s a crap actor.

Love Eileen’s ‘I’ll give you slappy’ comment to Seb.

I think they're being overly PC. Nowadays very few give a rats what sexuality someone is,which I suspect is what they were trying to play to. That said, it would be fair for anyone to be a little put out if another half sprung an unexpected sexuality preference on you out of the blue.

Is Phelan going to talk Jack round though?

We all know he's got the gift of the gab. Maybe bribe him with a mars bar or twix?

That expression from Pat when the kid knows who he is was golden, excellent lighting and acting really was some work went into that scene.

While I like the direction this is taking, it's taking too long - The David bit was a long time coming though.

On the other hand, Emmerdale is picking up nicely biggrin

I've lost track of the number of times Phelan has been hit on the head and survived. He must have a steel plate in there. As usual Gary misjudged the whole thing - he's lucky his mate inexplicably returned.

I'm a bit disappointed that they continued with other storylines this week - the Phelan plot and Michelle's wedding were surely enough? David's rape could have been shelved for a few days, and the Rosie drugs plot is plain daft. It's made this week's episodes all a bit messy.

I suspect that Phelan just wants to see Nicola and Zak for old times sake - he knows the game is up and this might be his only chance to see the baby. I doubt very much that even his temper and vindictiveness would go so far as to harm a new-born child.

On the whole - good stuff this week. (I was wrong about Jake - not top work at all, he's as greedy as anyone).

As Much as I dislike Robert, (He's a no good waste of space), he had a lucky escape there, not getting married to that cow Michelle. biggrin

Gary must be the thickest resident of the street ever (apart from Kirk).

Great acting by Pat again, it will be a real shame when he’s gone!

Sadly another episode where domestic abuse is seen as acceptable, somebody makes a relatively minor indiscretion and intimate partner (or ex intimate partner in this case) uses violence on them.

Emmerdale does it too, normalising domestic violence as long as it’s against men!

(Sorry, moan over....!)

I just don't understand why the police weren't called - and the Callum excuse seemed somewhat pointless 🙄🙄
