I wouldn't say pay per view, that would just line Murdoch's bulging pockets, and ps off fans needlessly.

However, ITV have four channels. Put the footy on one of these and leave Corro where it is!

One thing that is beginning to irritate me when I watch the soaps is that now nearly every episode as a warning at the start that some people might find some scenes disturbing.

The final is being shown live on both BBC and ITV on Sunday night, so no doubt that will upset quite a few people especially as England are no longer involved.

Indeed. If it's a big match, why not put it on ITV 2. It takes a second to change a channel on your remote.

Why upset ITV 1 viewers who hate football? (I like it btw, but would just watch it on 2)

Got it in one. Far less people watching Katie Price's new boyfriend diary's to upset, or whatever crap passes for tv on ITV2.

They could always put Corrie on ITV2, ITV3 or ITV4 when the footie is on. Same pholilosophy applies, it's just changing a channel smile

No chance.

Corrie takes precedence over even the world cup final or nuclear war breaking out.

Surely anyone knows that.

If Jack loses his foot, how will they show a footless boy?

There is no if, he has lost his foot and they've already had a scene with it missing. He was lying on a bed so I assume they just bent his leg to 90 degrees and put his lower leg through a hole hiding it under the bed and then adding a fake leg without a foot over the top.

Under the bed sheet? It's a good question, I wonder if he's going to get killed off or something....

Audrey is a bit slow on the uptake. That flat is hers isn't it? She can terminate Maria's lease, or at the very least report her to the council - you can't carry on a business in a domestic environment without permission. Business rates too, plus health and safety issues. Sorry to be a curmudgeon.

There was a scene where you saw both legs and the right one was bandaged and minus the foot. In the subsequent scenes when Kevin was explaining to him that he had lost a foot they were both under a blanket.

Anyone notice the dopy copper from Heartbeat talking to Steve and Tim in the corridor outside "Duncan's" flat?

But then she gave Maria inadequate notice....

I'm annoyed by it again at present, the stupid Craig storyline about ocd and the new bint making him have a break down. The whole grooming thing was just part of the last 2 yrs worth of shock "modern" storylines pushed in on a weekly basis. Let it drop now and move on. Likewise with the stupid Jonny legal case for custody. The surrogate mum story is also dead and buried now.

The cash swindle scene however with Steve and Tim fannying around breaking in the office was classic Corrie comedy gold. Bring it on :-)

Acting taken to the extreme! It takes real dedication to lose a leg for your art!
