The official PH Coronation Street thread
Discussion
Steve has been getting some great lines lately. It's almost as if the writers had forgotten his strengths, and have now decided to atone for that. Proper Corrie.
Jack's surgeon - it's nice to see Damon Hill has found gainful employment.
Audrey must be popular at her local Peugeot dealer. She's had a 206, a 207, and now this new one - 308?

I'm sad to say I've stopped watching, I used to enjoy my bit of light hearted tea time telly.
But since they increased the amount episodes I'm struggling to keep up what with shifts and all.
Too much of a good thing has killed it, I got sick of seeing I was 8 episodes behind and then trying to keep entertained for 2 hours just killed it. Surely it puts too much pressure on the cast and crew too, and the writers, hence a few dickie stories creeping in.
Such a shame.

Abi’s great also and has been given some great lines. Abi to Steve, shapely: ‘You’re a five, and Tracy is an eight.’
Then in a later scene with Ty in the flat after reading Fizz’s note:
‘But she put a kiss there though’ (on the note)
LOL.
Never watched Shameless but she’s a fine actress.

I stand corrected. Mind you, I had to go to catch-up to revisit the scene. It wasn't an Alfa or a Peugeot, it was a Fiat Tipo. They all look the same these days - Audrey must be a sucker for depreciation with the marques she chooses.
She can afford it...she has the salon and Alf Roberts won't have left her short...…Speaking of the salon, I've not seen Mrs Abercrombie in there recently for her blue rinse and set.
And what's happened to Tommy Orpington?

Steve and Tim were talking about Tommy in a fairly recent episode - they were discussing the best players in the world !Speaking of the salon, I've not seen Mrs Abercrombie in there recently for her blue rinse and set.

A, yes, you're right, I remember now. I hope his leg's better after Steve nobbled him in a kickabout.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18-5pETcxTs
I've heard on the grapevine he'll be back in the Street soon....
