I'm inclined to think that Henry isn't intentionally 'up to something', I think he's just a dipstick who likes a bit of rough and possibly it's now dawning on him that he's out of his depth taking on The Rovers.

You could be right. I really don't envisage Gemma running the Rovers - it's had some brilliant landlords over the years, some of the very best of Corrie characters. Annie Walker, Bet Lynch and Alec Gilroy, Liz, even Jack and Vera. Gemma doesn't crack it (geddit?).

My TV schedule reckons tonight's the night Eva says goodbye to the Street. Maybe she's going to peek round the corner of the ginnel and wave ta-ta to the camera. Preferably leaning over a long way.............

The courtesy (Fiat 500) car that Tyrone lent Beth, Tracey, Kirk and Abi.

Websters is a tiny garage, with very limited parking to the front. Where has that car been hiding for how ever many years?

Steve's handling of the Tracy rave outing and her penance was brilliant. Well played, sir!

I just knew Henry was dodgy...…..Chesney is on the case, he'll look after Gemma.....

Just been announced on the radio that a very well known female actress is going to be coming onto the cobbles in a couple of months.

Fantastic camera work at inquest - Johnny in foreground , and the seated cast in the background made it look a Renaissance painting

Kirk ate a chocolate brownie and fell asleep! He made a "hash" of that - he's a bit "dopey" !

PS Mary with an accordion! Can you just picture her after a couple of Dubonnets playing a selection from Sound of Music?

Poor Henry, he's destitute, maybe Shaun can find him a bunk up at his place in the park?

I read a few weeks back that Johnny was going to be taking over the Rovers but at the time I couldn't see how it was going to happen. Now I know.

Absolutely brilliant! "If I can do it with Mother, I can do it with you".

Great stuff tonight. Writers who understand the characters they've created.

Mary: ‘I’m not a snob. I’ve been to Nando’s.’

laugh

Mary was on fire last night. Great stuff.

Lots more humour in the last couple of weeks; much more enjoyable.

Maybe one of the production staff is on PH! They've read our comments and responded. Let's hope it stays that way.
