As mentioned, I reckon that old gal is scamming Maria, but NOT with Lewis. I reckon Lewis, being a former-conman, would spot something wasn’t right about that old gal and save the day and be the hero.

I missed that. Well spotted - of course she would. The Queen of Hearts.

PS From time to time I recall a couple of episodes from about 1 or 2 years ago when Mary talked about an autobiography she was writjng. She used to carry a large notebook and jotted down aides memoire as inspirations for new chapters. We never hear about it now - what a Xmas bestseller that would be!
