Really?? Maybe he'll sign for County and scare the opposition to death..biggrin
That should have read Tommy not Tony, but yes it’s true - Rick had a picture of him in his office.

Based on the nail bar, it looks as though a human trafficking storyline is on the way...

Indeed, let's hope she becomes a regular smile

He left his wallet on the floor, so I'm guessing there's a follow-up storyline.

Still laughing at Kirk's songs - Beth's shopping list as a lyric!

My current working theory is girl at nail bar is going to bring wallet back to Seb, they bone, Eileens new bloke turns out to be her dad, hilarity / a beating ensues.

Rick's office with picture of Weatherfield County's star striker "Tommy Orpington" on the wall.

I was thinking human trafficking / modern slavery but I think you might be right.

Definitely slavery - too many clues .
I smiled, a little , at the Kirk song and cringed at the dog st- gate plot. Neither sits well with the Street's ethos - it's just embarrassing , like hearing your aged auntie tell a mucky joke

A few bits of subtle humour returning, keep that going please. Gemmas twin returning a bag of her stuff to Ches, including a mentioned alarm clock, Ches - 'she won't miss that', and Kirk talking about going on the X-Factory.

Enigma #1 - when Peter asked Jonny to have a look upstairs in the squat, the wino shouted "no" and so they didn't. Odd.

Enigma #2 - Seb's new girl was quite happy to go into Eileen's house, even though Jan caused her to be scared on a previous visit. How did she know he wouldn't be there?

The Peter/Ken/Simon drunken argument was embarassing and very wooden. AmDram emotion.

Thankfully Seb remembered he's got HIV , before doing the deed with pretty new thing. He's obviously forgotten or the screenwriters did since the day that story fizzled out. He's also forgotten (like his mum) there's a pair of twins somewhere desperate for care!
Rest of it pretty much ticks along day to day in Corrie land. Gemma and rubber face story is a bit irritating now they are back from the Father Ted caravan.

New wonder drug innit? Cures both HIV and MS .

In other news , I saw that Ken (or rather Bill Roache ) turned 87 this week . Not doing bad is he , and surely nobody in a soap , anywhere , has enjoyed such an unbroken run. Possibly Peggy in the Archers?

He's good for his age then. Limited parts these days but I imagine no one else on tv has played the same character for so long? Wonder if he regrets never moving on.
