Might be better this year if there aren't a load of spare producers chucking smoke grenades into engine bays for drama.

I was slightly concerned that Fred's team might be all 'oorah, freedom!' but actually seems promising.
Well... one of the first things they did was raise the stars 'n' stripes and then salute it, but yes, I agree they seem nice guys.

It seems there is not much discussion about this show anymore.I fast forward just to watch the gold weigh because all the false peril drives me up the wall, made worse by knowing about the ins and outs of heavy plant and how it really works.

I have watched the last few series but I have now learned the pattern so it is less appealing.

Aside from that, Parker is the real deal, the rest of them seem amateurs in comparison. Tony has a lot of skin in the game from past investments but is no longer producing gold for himself like he needs to. Fred is a disaster in the show context.

His GF.... I don't understand his train of thought on that... at all.

Same with Kris Kelly on Bering sea gold.

Got rid of Sky in September, this was one of the few programs I will miss.

Lost my way with this, was watching a season when Covid hit and the impact of that, then my planner just kept recording repeats so canned it

What number is this series? Might try and grab it

Can I retract my original statement? Fred's an utter fkwit.

They seem to be confusing Gold Rush with Gold Diggers

When I first saw her, I honestly thought she was his mum.

Didn't bother with the last couple of series but have been watching the latest series on Discovery during work. All slick operations now apart from OooRar Fred.

The angle this series is that Parker could potentially lose millions on a big gamble. Also, last episode showed how big the Beets operation is. He must have 20 people working for him excluding family. Oh and Kevin Beets is the star of the show for me.

Watched them all up till now but I'm losing interest fast. Freds boring,I've found more gold picking my nose. Ricks girlfriend is well.... err.... weird.
I enjoyed Tony's operation more when he had his water license and was using the dredge, looked forward to seeing how much gold he would get with his second dredge then blamo! cant use either.
Parker is hardly in it, turns up for the count at the end swigs a beer tells a crap joke they all laugh at cause they are scared he sacks them, and that's another episode done.

It appears to have stopped at episode 13 - 2/3rds through the season confused

Looks like episode 14 is on next week according to my planner, maybe just a couple week break over Christmas.

I have started watching Outback Car Hunters too - a bit of arranged drama (ie, trying to start the bile green 120Y - crank it once and then decide it's not going to start. Maybe lift the bonnet and check stuff?) but interesting to see what's floating around out there.

I've started watching Aussie Gold Rush but have realised that it's quite a commitment given the number of series....
