And I thought Jezza was taller.

Not to take away from the running joke - but yes, JC is comedy tall. I have met him, and whilst I am 6'4", he was notably taller than me - it's not many people I have to look up at when I speak to them.

I think i'll watch it because James May presents it.

I think if it was Hammond or Clarkson i'd problem skip but I liked May show about toys.

The two documentaries JC did on the 2nd World War were very good. The St Nazaire raid and the Russian Convoys are well worth watching. I just find Hammond very infantile at times so avoid anything he is involved with.

Not to forget the one he did on his father in law who won the VC at Arnhem

Yep, very enjoyable those programmes.

Hammond's I always think end up like Kids' shows, despite not being meant to be.

Pedantry - May started Lingotto anti-clockwise, and ended it clockwise. Or am I going mad?

Good program. smile

Shame they had to drop the Lada. I thought James May would be better than that. Didn't detract from a very informative and interesting show though. Looking forward to next week's episode.

Shame it was cheapened with the "stunt" of dropping the Lada.

My family seemed to have had a penchant for "Dictator" cars, my Grandfather had a Beetle which was replaced by a Lada Riva (he loved it as they lived on a farm with an unpaved road which used to grind the bottom of my Dad's Orion, but the Lada took the ruts and holes with ease).

More over my Dad had a Wartburg in the 70s when we was serving in the RAF on a base which had Buccaneers capable of delivering nuclear payloads, I wonder if MI6 had a file on him due to his choice of car?

I think I saw a barrier across it (as it's not all serviceable) so I guess he had to turn around.

Good programme - enjoyed it.

I have a lack of concentration sometimes and tend to flit from one thing to another or watch TV whilst doing something else.
I sat down and watched that and nothing else for 1 hr!
Very good, is it on next week?
