I think Kim is going to prison.
My thinking also if she goes ahead with going for Howard it could easily backfire.
Unless Jimmy stay out of it, surely it would incriminate him also?

Would we get through all the series of BB without his wife in prison bing mentioned?

Does that mean we can discuss the last episode openly?

Just a thought and not really a spoiler, but playing it safe.

Kim’s plan if the Sandpiper money comes through was to open a shopfront practice in the worst area possible and offer the poorest people the kind of legal advice that millionaires get. Isn’t that exactly the set up that Jimmy has in BB. Maybe it’s his tribute to her, so suggests a not too nice ending for her

That's quite possibly quite a good shout.

Does Kim appear in BB at all? I cannot remember her.

If not, they have to write her out in the next series.

I don't she does - not even a mention (and no.. not even as Wendy!)

Nope, she was created specifically for BCS.

That's a really good shout - I hadn't linked that until I read your post. His office in BB seemed like it was in a really divey low rent mall area with random chavvy walk-ins all waiting their turn like a doctors surgery.

Must be difficult as script writers with web forums all discussing what is going to, could be or might happen in the next season to not get distracted with 101 good ideas and the desire to get them all into the show.

Really enjoying the series and just as much everyones thoughts and what ifs on here.

Off at a tangent, just realised that Bob Odenkirk played serially useless and incompetent Police Chief Bill Oswalt in Fargo. Better Not Call Bill.

After the final series is done, it would be great to have a show featuring Rhea Seehorn and Maggie Siff. Some kind of dominatrix thing.

Possibly, in clink for the whole BB timeline and get together after?
It would be odd seeing the fact she wasn't mentioned once in BB but I like the idea of her walking back into Jimmy's life in the flash forward scenes at the start of every series.

P.S great finale.

I will confess to sometimes being bemused by the twists and turns it takes en route to the single certainty of BB . But I'll also confess to not being sufficiently bothered to read the posts in this thread explaining plot nuances , made by viewers more attentive than me .

Fact is , that for me the plot is at best peripheral in BCS , far more so than in BB . The charm for me of BCL is not whether A was plotting against B , but not C because D knows that ....(etc) but the langorous pace in some episodes where plot is of tiny importance , and brilliant characterisation carries the whole thing. Add in wonderful lighting , camerawork and an ensemble of seriously good actors and I am very happy to ignore plot altogether a lot of the time .

Im on series 4, and I rate it as being better than Breaking Bad, which is saying a lot.

I agree. Breaking Bad was brilliant, but Saul Goodman is one of the great TV characters of all time

Better Call Saul is my favourite show from the last few years and so decided to treat myself and binge watching this season all in one (no one I know seems to watch it so didn’t need to worry about spoilers).

Was not disappointed!

Still not sure if I rate it better than Breaking Bad although it is a coin toss depending on my mood. Either way, at this point you would have to argue that Gilligan is the best tv writer/director by a large margin. Already watched Breaking Bad twice and this has made me tempted for the third run.

Also I went back to this clip on Breaking Bad:

https://youtu.be/8gM6_FCeiBA

There’s no way that Lalo can still be alive during BB because Fring wouldn’t have it so I’m assuming Jimmy found out the first assassination attempt failed but was never kept in the loop past that.

As far Nacho is concerned, I think he’ll be the Vacuum Repair mans’ first customer...

Saul Goodman was always my favourite character in BB, so having a series dedicated to him is a win win for me.

Whilst there is/was a series 6 planned for next year, when it does finally end I know I will feel the same as I did when The Wire finished, like i had lost a limb with no chance of ever finding it. A least when losing a limb you probably get sympathy from others, whereas the come down from finishing a TV series gains you nothing from anyone.

It could even be identified as a new classification of metal health in the future, just like soldiers suffering from PTSD wasn't identified until after WW1, with this one maybe being called PTSESD (Post Traumatic Series Ending Stress Disorder) smile
