Better Call Saul - Prequel to Breaking Bad
Discussion
My son and I have just binged I Am Not Okay with This and now have that sense of loss that we've not got it to watch anymore.

MTFU, it's only 62 hours long, start now you will be done by Friday early morning.
A week and a half behind the challenge, but all done and rounded off with El Camino. Somehow it seemed even better knowing Saul’s, Mike’s & Fring’s back story. However, I’m really hoping that we get to find out the Chilean background of Fring in the final series of BCS. unident said:

In Breking Bad theres a flashback to when Fring sees his partner getting shot dead by the swimming pool, which he later avenges. I don't think thats been explored any further yet has it?LeadFarmer said:

Sorry I didn't mean to goad you into spending a week in a darkened room sat in your pants living on a diet of pot noodles . Have you found the note your wife left on the door yet, saying something about needing some space?

She enjoys it just as much, so was happy to chill and watch 4 episodes a night as there’s bugger all on normal TV anyway.

Where are the classic movies? The brilliant documentaries we have had over the years? The faulty towers? The Terminator 2's? etc etc etc
All we get is fking Escape from LA (which I actually quite like but it's besides the point)
It's not like we are all suddenly paying the beeb LESS money for the fking service due to COVID and C4 and 5 still get the same revenue from ads so what the fk is stopping them helping us lot out?
The s.
Sorry.

I re-watched BB earlier this year, and have recently binge-watched BCS for the first time. I wouldn't say it's as good as BB, but not far off.
I think where BB clinches it is that the characters were all new/unknown, so when watching it for the first time you don't know what direction they are taking. Even fairly late on you still expect Walter to turn out "good". Likewise you see Fring as a calm mannered and restrained... right up until he isn't. In BCS you know where (some of them) end up, so it's more about how they get there.
I guess S6 will address what happens to Nacho, Kim, Lalo, and to a lesser extent Howard.

In my opinion, Cranston gave a masterclass in acting throughout BB. And that is unmatched by the leads in BCS.BCS is a team sport. Cranston was Mike Tyson, the baddest man in the planet who owned his era.
Has anything in BCS come close to the 'i am the one who Knocks' monologue, or even the perfection of Frings ending?

Season 6 of BCS has just confirmed appearance of Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul.
Love it when a plan comes together.
Awesome. Really looking forward to how they tie together the ending of this into the beginning of BB.Love it when a plan comes together.
A bit of make up may be required to shed a few years
