If this gets finished, it will be great. But getting it done in 12 months seems to be pushing it.

Yes, mental for a whole host of reasons, but once done Kat long as they're not bankrupt!) they'll have a house they love in a stunning location worth a blooming fortune.

Indeed. Four months in, the farmer has £12,000 in his pocket and they haven't managed to get across to get a spade in the ground yet.

Could they not have built a timber framed floating house that doesn't require digging out hundreds of tonnes?
