I've had sepsis. Going to casualty with a swelling and high temperature which as the doctor examined me turned into violent shivers, sweats, racing pulse was disconcerting. This then became bloody alarming when the on call ICU consultant comes down, has a look and hey presto I'm wheeled into ICU with a crowd of nurses attaching IV lines, sorting out humidified oxygen and worst of all, putting in a line so they could do regular gas analysis blood tests. Temperature hit 41.5.
Thankfully a few days of kick ass antibiotics being piped in intravenously did the trick.

I picked up Cellulitis a couple of years back and it hit me like a train. I was hospitalised, put on IV antibiotics and had a temperature of 42 degrees. I was a step away from Sepsis. Not a nice thing to contract.
My ex got bitten by something a couple of years ago and her foot swelled up like a balloon and was painful and wasn't far off sepsis...On topic - Am I the only one annoyed by the drug dealing storyline?

I'm finding that one of the more entertaining ones, I'm sure it's going to end very badly for Freddie. Alistair's endless self-pity on the other hand...
h when he gets sent down for drug dealing.Alistair is going to start gambling again I reckon.

You have to have some sympathy though. He gets his life back into a more or less decent place, then both of the females that affect his life the most kick him in the goolies, without provocation. Leaving him near enough broke and homeless. I’d be wallowing in self pity if it happened to me.I'm still a week behind, so bear with me. My views:
- I can't see Rex leaving
- Lily having the scales fall off her eyes
- Kate is bludgeoned to death for being an annoying arse
- Alistair and Shula get back together after Alistair gambles away a ton of money - It all comes out and Shula dumps him properly
- The farm is sold to Justin who aims to develop it in to flats
- The affordable housing is all removed
- Freddie is caught dealing, but finds himself set up for a much higher charge
