Forgive my crudity, but I think Tom is well and truly p***y whipped.

It's no less than he deserves.

I invented a game that we used to play in my house. Whenever Tom says something, and before anybody else speaks, you have to shout a single-word insult at him. Then it passes to the next player who must do the same the next time he speaks.

If you use more than one word, repeat a word, or fail to get your insult in before the next character speaks (or before Tom has finished), you lose a point.

I'm quite proud of it, to be honest smile

How long before Natasha is declared bankrupt, and will she take Tom or any of the family business down with her?
Yes, and not being concerned about an £8000 credit card debt and paying minimum evary month because 'everybody lives on credit these days'.

I think that other debts will appear in due course, followed by a loan from the Bank of Archer.
Or she persuades Tony to put up some security for a new loan to expand her/Tom's business, and they default on the loan.

Good one. There is SO MUCH to look forward to in the coming weeks. I thought that the series fell a bit flat after Rob's departure, but has now been ignited, with Natasha holding the match.

And how long before Russ gets a bit of MILF fun?
Too right, this feels like it’s really getting set up over the last few encounters between them.

My wife is an addict ,so I do tend to osmose current goings on down Borsesthire way. But I have come to realise that I really dislike nearly all of the characters, some of whom drive me to bloody distraction. Yes, I'm talking about you Jill, Peggy , David , Tony , Adam (who sounds like a poundshop Roger Moore of late ) and Bill Nighy soundalike Kenton..

I never liked Hlen much but te Rob thing was superb and I have always liked Lizzie (who sounded trouble , but in a good way , in her youth ). the late Nigel, salt of the earth lovable rogue Eddie , Lillian (cackle cackle ), toff rogue Brian, that minx Pip and the extremely sexy Fallon - and where is she of late?

That's it- the rest should be taken out by an unprecedented , and very localised, meteorite strike ...

Is it just me ? .

No, I'm with you Coppice. A well-aimed bomb should be deployed. Quite like the blossoming Natasha finances storyline at the moment and looking forward to Fweddie returning to the fold tonight.

Phew- that's a relief. And I've realised I do actually like two other characters - Linda Snell (preposterous , pretentious but the glue that keeps the community alive) and chip off sexy block Lily . But Natasha ..if it was 30 years ago I'd say she needs a slap, Kirsty -hugely irritating voice , Shula (Princess Anne incarnate) , Phoebe , Roy - God above ...

Susan Archer! The voice and character that make me want to kill.

I think Pip, Lily, Elizabeth and Fallon all sound sexy. Helen sounds like the yummy mummies we have round here.

Tom, Will and Roy are all prat’s. Kate is annoying but is a great character to have on the show.

I don’t like Emma or Kirsty either. Emma is too “holier than thou” but doesn’t see it, and Kirsty is just frustrated.

Seemed weigh more upbeat than maybe I was expecting. Hopefully he'll tell Russ what he thinks of him?

Apparently an old flame contacts Tom with some Natasha 'history'. Previous bankrupt? Nine credit cards? Outstanding loans? Cor!!!

She gets on my wick anyway. (Natasha) I don't think it'll be long before there's a consolidation loan or divorce settlement in the offing.

I still dislike Russ and his being a jobless 'artist' really grates.

I'm only just caught up with the omnibus - The whole Rauri and Will thing was bks... And there is definitely something more to Natasha I'd say as she seems very manipulative (or is she coercive?)

I can't work out where the Natasha storyline is headed either.

Financial ruin for that branch of the Archer family as she persuades them to consolidate parts of their business with hers or give security for loans for her and/or Tom's business?

Acrimonious divorce as he won't "stand up for her"?

Role reversal of the Helen and Rob Titchener coercive abuse story?

She reveals herself to be more and more alpha compared to Tom to the extent that, arriving unexpectedly, Peggy suffers a massive heart attack at the sight of Tom, wearing nothing but a gimp mask, cuffed to a bench whilst Natasha takes him with a massive strapon?
