Good films ruined by the ending...

Watched The Call last night. Quite a good film, and kept me gripped.
Right until the last minute.
Completely agree with this. Started off quite fresh, a new concept etc. Then I felt like I was watching a different film, like a bad rip-off of Silence of the Lambs. Must've run out of ideas - i.e. "st how do we end this?"Right until the last minute.

War of the Worlds.
And more recently I quite enjoyed Non-Stop until the ending.
Nothing wrong with the ending of War of the Worlds. It fits in with the original timeframe of the book. And more recently I quite enjoyed Non-Stop until the ending.
the son suddenly being there completely unharmed, very Hollywood
