Harry got a steal.

Classifieds on PH only have one SL600 at £17k frown

Cheapest on ebay is a gangsta left hooker at £10k

I cant think of a single other person who could do a video about a car that they keep for their yacht in the south of France without sounding like a bit of an arse. It goes without saying that he is hugely passionate and knowledgeable about cars, but that he manages to pull off these videos and still coming across as genuinely likeable and not at all boastful I just find amazing.
My favourite car channel by a long stretch.

So it seems, I stopped looking at £12k and hadn't found one last night. Not that I looked... Ahem...

Another enjoyable video. Well done Harry.

The coin balancing act was first done, I believe, on a BMW E32 750i..... Though I could be mistaken!

Long before; it was done to demonstrate the stability and smoothness during flight in one of the early 1952 Comet Jet Airliners wink

Not as early as your example. But I'm sure V12 Jaguars have been doing this for years....

I spend a lot of time in marinas around the Med, it's always interesting to see what's under the covers.

Will be get a running report on the yacht too..? Is it a sailing yacht or motor I wonder...

I really enjoyed the SL video, though I suspect the 'cost' of the car was a lot more than £5k once the various renovations had been made. Still great value for money though!

One thing has me worried though - what happens when Harry runs out of cars in his garage? Or is this series all a rouse to allow the purchase of ever more vehicles?!

Who cares? He has access to some fantastic cars and is choosing to share them with us. Top marks for doing so, just spent the last 20 minutes watching the Testarossa video and it's incredibly informative.

Keep up the good work Harry thumbup

Quite like that Jay Leno used a glass of water to demonstrate the smoothness of the turbine engine in his Chrysler Turbine car. That idles at 22,000RPM wink He put the glass on top of the engine once running, and it was perfectly still.. most impressive.

Fantastic, just what I need for an evening stuck in a hotel room.

I see his FFRR has been upgraded guessing that's his new JLR company car.

Harry, if you are reading this, how long do these take to make/edit? Do you have kind of script or is off the cuff?

Cracking video anyway, such enthusiasm and sometimes words are not needed...

Very good. He's right that it is such an iconic car that all of us instinctively know.

Also interesting that it didn't seem to be the pig to drive that so many have made. Seemed very similar to later TVRs to be honest, so hairy and hard work but more rewarding that shocking.
