I suspect there won't be a lot of response to this video, but Harry knows that. smile

I've not watched it.

Enjoyed that. I'd much rather watch something like that than another review of some boring new BMW.

Thanks for watching.

I hoped to make the vid more about the event and the epic scenery in Morocco, rather than just about the bikes.

I kinda wish I hadn't done such a long intro clip discussing what kit to take out but I won't make the same mistake next time..

Best value motoring event I know, though. Bikes cost us between £1500-£3000 and then another £3k for seven days in Morocco, including all event support and hotels/food seems crazy value to me.

I'm watching right now.

I've never had a hint of desire for off road motorbiking, mainly as I've always associated it with green laning in the UK and the grief that can be (same as when I had my off roader Suzuki Sumarai, 'pay and play' at clay pits lost it's appeal quite quickly).

Good god I'm tempted now!

Same here. Never been very interested in off-road bikes but this seems like an extremely appealing event - all while I was watching I was fantasizing about doing it myself!

Ref Harry's Farm, it feels a little odd as a viewer to be told that you're not going to share the price of the fence, since you've always been so transparent about your farm costs, subsidies, yield and profit. Also in the 'Garage', your project costs are transparent. Ofc, I respect your discretion, but what makes the bespoke metal fence the exception?

Really enjoyed the bike trip. I also thought explaining the kit was informative for a non bike guy like myself.

The sand looked like hard work, in fact all of it did. More of these please Harry!

Enjoyed the Farm update as well, love the new fencing, what a fine job. Stone walls will look great as well.

Enjoyed that as well, intro an' all.

Love the trips away and seeing some different sights along the way.

Video length was just right for a weeks trip

Looking forward to the next one thumbup

I thought he implied that it was £40/metre or thereabouts so 400 metres of fencing at aound £16,000 (probably a touch more for the bespoke gates)

Yes, “I’m not going to tell you, but…”. He provided all the necessary info including “it cost less than £20k”

I suspect Harry is anticipating his fencer becoming very busy and is giving him a chance to increase his rates. Based on the numbers he should be way higher. It’s like Concorde “How much do you think your company paid for this seat?” and then they made the ticket price that much.

I also think we now “know” how much the fencer makes and that’s a little personal.

I must admit, I wasn't going to watch this week's video, but I'm very glad I did! I can only imagine how many calories you burn each day. I'm a skinny bugger, so I'm not sure my leg muscles would be up to it!

I really want a go in that Dakar support truck biggrin

I’m not a biker either but I really did enjoy the video. I found the intro on the prep and gear very interesting as it’s a topic I know nothing about.

Great trip, terrific stamina Harry all with what looked like good company and reasonable cost…. Result !

Tbf, it looked pretty idyllic when Harry was filming the fencer, but I can imagine it's not like that every day. Having spent a good few years when I was younger working outside, he is earning every penny.
Not had chance to sit down and watch the bike vid yet, but it looks mighty impressive.

I loved the bike trip. I'm not a biker but I have long thought about buying one, specifically to do some overlanding like this. I would prefer to do overlanding in a huge 4x4 truck, and go for weeks and months at a time but that's not practical with having to earn a living too, so a week or two away on a bike seems to offer the perfect amount of adventure in short bursts. Watching the latest video cemented my desire for a bike.

There were a couple of sections where I had my heart in my mouth.... It was a great video and looked a superb trip.

Not sure I would have the cojones to do it!

Reason for not revealing the actual cost I paid was I originally agreed terms to do this fencing back in October 2021, when steel prices were around half what they are now, so the cost I paid was not representative of what this estate fencing would cost today.

I'm pleased I bought the steel when I did but it was purely down to luck, rather than a suspicion steel price was going to go into orbit in a few months time..

I really enjoyed the bike video last night Harry, looked great fun and almost felt I was along for the ride.
Out of interest, when the bike went over with your leg underneath would you have been able to get it out of you were on your own?
