With people talking about running their EV at sprints and Hillclimbs it may be worth noting that a fair few venues exclude them because of the additional fire control facilities that are required. I guess a circuit like Goodwood already has adequate cover but smaller venues have done the sums and found it not financially viable to buy the extra kit.
Read the MSUK blue book and look at the extra work and people needed to allow EV to run in an event, even with the kit there circuit provided, you need a HV technical petson with their own tools and safety kit and an EV trained scrutineer.

Yes! Excellent.
Agreed.

Maybe just upload some GPX files with the choice routes on?

What a noise.

I think this particular model was one of the first cars with the now ubiquitous LED DRLs.

Is it the same NSU that Retropower were putting back together?

Didn't something like a Lamborghini Urus also make it up there, much to Harry's delight/surprise?

I've thought for a long time that, for a performance "daily", a B5 RS4 would tick all the boxes.

Not any more.

I'd completely forgotten about the RS6 with a twin-turbo Lambo engine, and now the want is massive. What a thing.

It's not really a Lamborghini engine. It's a V10 version of the modular Audi TFSI, designed to come as 3.0 V6, 4.0 V8 and 5.0 V10. The 5.0 V10 in the original Gallardo was unique to Lamborghini, with different architecture from the Audi engine. The 5.2 V10 in the later LP series Gallardos and Huracans is based on the Audi FSI modular engine.

Harry, I know it's been asked loads, and you've said they're not yours, but when oh when are we going to see that glorious, iconic, beautiful F40/F50 combo getting an outing?
Looking forward to this myself. I'm sure he said previously he's just waiting for spring weather to arrive as they're not cars you want to cake in salt or mud if avoidable. Hopefully soon then!

Ha. I think that is statistically unlikely.

A friend briefly had one many years ago - if you ever passed another owner, instead of simply waving at each other, owners would apprently hold up a certain number of fingers (the number of engines the car has had).

It’s from the Audi Heritage fleet, it has the original type engine and is an automatic I believe

Always liked this generation of RS6. Do you need a brave pill to buy one at this age?

De-badged and it would be the ultimate sleeper. Neighbour had the same era S6 saloon and you'd never know there was a V10 lurking beneath.

No doubt I joined 100's of others look at the RS6 on AutoTrader. 20k seems to get you something nice.

Not so sure about the 10mpg on a daily driver though smile

The NSU is also from Audi's Heritage fleet.
