Thanks Harry, I`ve enjoyed the Goodwood Sprint and then RS6 revisit.
Just need an interesting road trip now please! Maybe in the Porsche . . ?
The two cars that he has that interest me most are the Lotus Elan and the Fiat 500. He seems to almost never drive either of them.Just need an interesting road trip now please! Maybe in the Porsche . . ?

This was a comparison with the top spec SV, also because Harry loves FFRRs, I imagine.
I'd love to see him do more reviews of older cars like the RS6. Perhaps on the theme of revisiting cars that he has previously had on long term loan during EVO or tested etc.
Yes, this would be great. Would love to see how a Zonda stacks up nowadays. I'd love to see him do more reviews of older cars like the RS6. Perhaps on the theme of revisiting cars that he has previously had on long term loan during EVO or tested etc.

There are only so many videos you can do on them though. He's already done a couple on the elan and at least a bit of one (iirc) on the 500. Can't really see what else he could do? Can't exactly schlepp off to Europe in themQuhet said:

Elan, 500 and the old Rangie. They do appear to just be ornaments but I wonder if it's just down to them not being as youtubable as other stuff so they don't get the media treatment when being used? The Rangie needs a bit of a restomod like the XJC to make a winter pub run wagon to compliment the Jag but the other two need some road trips.
Maybe take the 500 home? That would give weeks of footage given its top speed and the need for multiple stops to visit chiropractors.

The Elan (lovely as it is) strikes me more of a local UK trips and pub trips car. Why take that when you could take something like the project 7 which will be a lot of fun and cruise in comfort too.
It's an age thing, I like small sports cars, big saloons don't do much for me. They may be fast and you can do comfort in a taxi. I'd rather go back to my teens when I took my MGA everywhere, including the south of France. The Elan would be perfect And that battery looked extremely vulnerable in a vehicle purported to be able to go off road.
I have a friend that had a Outlander PHEV that was written off by a scratched battery case and the insurance wouldn't cover it, circa 15k car. Wouldn't want to be in that situation in a 160k car.
