I’m hoping for a video on the NSU Ro80 in the background
Me too, ‘wonder if it has the original engine?
It’s from the Audi Heritage fleet, it has the original type engine and is an automatic I believe
They weren't talking about the Audi
I was referring to the NSU. They are both from Audi’s Heritage fleet and both automatics

Enjoyed the RS6 video
Me too.
So did I.

More retrospective reviews of older, interesting but attainable cars please Harry.

Yeah I'd quite like this. I'd offer him to borrow my car for a review but I'm not sure he'd want to stoop so low hehe

If we're doing requests, I'd love to see Harry review the GR86 on his roads.

Interesting review Harry. I get the impression that you weren't too enamoured with the toys and chintz laid up by the latest and greatest. It would've been nice to see a trial on 'the hill', though I don't recall you mentioning what type of tyres it was supplied with.

I want to like the paint, but I've seen so many RR with a matt wrap it looked aftermarket to me.

Didn't bother to watch this one. Haven't we already had a RR review this year?

This was a comparison with the top spec SV, also because Harry loves FFRRs, I imagine.

I'd love to see him do more reviews of older cars like the RS6. Perhaps on the theme of revisiting cars that he has previously had on long term loan during EVO or tested etc.

Thanks Harry, I`ve enjoyed the Goodwood Sprint and then RS6 revisit.

Just need an interesting road trip now please! Maybe in the Porsche . . ?
The two cars that he has that interest me most are the Lotus Elan and the Fiat 500. He seems to almost never drive either of them.

Yes, this would be great. Would love to see how a Zonda stacks up nowadays.

There are only so many videos you can do on them though. He's already done a couple on the elan and at least a bit of one (iirc) on the 500. Can't really see what else he could do? Can't exactly schlepp off to Europe in them

Of course you could in the Elan. What better way to spend the week? Young girl by your side, couple of soft bags in the boot, roof down. Just touring France, some nice meals, nice wine, perhaps down to the Rhone valley, stopping where you please in a chateau or small hotel... What's not to like? Perhaps Mrs M might not agree... scratchchin

The Elan (lovely as it is) strikes me more of a local UK trips and pub trips car. Why take that when you could take something like the project 7 which will be a lot of fun and cruise in comfort too.

Have to agree with Harry, those RR wheels looked awful. They looked just like something your local drug dealer would fit to his RR Sport.

Saw a 296 in town yesterday too with the optional stripe. Pretty sure I would rather have a couple of nice holidays to be honest.

Elan, 500 and the old Rangie. They do appear to just be ornaments but I wonder if it's just down to them not being as youtubable as other stuff so they don't get the media treatment when being used?

The Rangie needs a bit of a restomod like the XJC to make a winter pub run wagon to compliment the Jag but the other two need some road trips.

Maybe take the 500 home? That would give weeks of footage given its top speed and the need for multiple stops to visit chiropractors. biggrin

It's an age thing, I like small sports cars, big saloons don't do much for me. They may be fast and you can do comfort in a taxi. I'd rather go back to my teens when I took my MGA everywhere, including the south of France. The Elan would be perfect biggrin

That Range Rover didn't impress me at all. Can't see what it offered over the 'base' model really.

And that sill plate was at best fitted by mistake and most likely broken already.

Makes a tidy 4.4 diesel L322 look like the bargain of the century at circa 15-20k.

And that battery looked extremely vulnerable in a vehicle purported to be able to go off road.

I have a friend that had a Outlander PHEV that was written off by a scratched battery case and the insurance wouldn't cover it, circa 15k car. Wouldn't want to be in that situation in a 160k car.
