Did watch tonight’s one first time around but watched it again tonight.
It’s easy to live a ‘normal’ life and not have anything to do with the people featured but it really is a view of how destructive drugs and addiction are, literally turning people into zombies. Felt for both the victim and offender in this one.
Quite a depressing episode really.. the prosecution felt a bit vindictive in some ways. At least she completed a rehab course in prison.
Not sure I agree. Would you feel the same way if the victim was a relative of yours? The job of the Police is to investigate potential offences and submit a file to the CPS and the Courts. It's not their job to be emotive as to whether the offender should be prosecuted or not.
Obstructing the coroner is a pretty serious offence.

He has the same attitude towards sex as I suspect some PH'ers have. You know, the "a man can't rape his wife lol" type
Any need for this?

This thread's been taken down the NP&E path by a few of the newer posters on it. banghead.

A disappointing episode really. No intrigue/investigation/suspense, just 90 minutes of the same.

Hopefully they'll get back to the more interesting investigations soon! biggrin
The trouble is, as soon as they show you the accused face, you know they've been found guilty.

I wonder how much these 2 victims were paid for their input?

Good episode, second part tomorrow night.

If you’re going to stream it now though, could I respectfully ask you not to discuss it openly on here, as it’s surprising how it can spoil it for us who haven’t yet seen it.

Thank you smile

IMO considering the next episode is available from the source provider for free then it should be allowed in the thread as soon as the streams finished, it's not too much of an issue with in this case as it's broadcast on TV the next day but what if it's a shown a week later?

Users consume media in a multitude of other ways than solely relying on legacy realtime broadcasts so if you're relying on time shifting to view the material once it's already available (via legitimate methods) then the onus should be on not visiting the thread till you've watched it rather than force others to have to nest replies in spoiler tags.
Sorry, some of us are old school (old!) and we like to watch the programs the way we've grown up doing so. Also, not everone has time to stream it either.

So, it's just a case of respecting this really, thank you smile

Do you sit through the adverts as well?
Of course, what's your point?

Hunting the Essex Lorry Killers BBC2 at 9pm might be of interest.

The hunt for the gang behind the deaths of the 39 Vietnamese that died in the shipping container.
