As this is now open to all Police docs...
Monday 9 pm Ch5 - a new (they say) Police Suspect Number 1.
I *think* that's a repeat. Without looking it up, is it about going after a bunch of bent coppers? Monday 9 pm Ch5 - a new (they say) Police Suspect Number 1.
Well worth a watch, or even a second watch if it is a repeat.

Can't believe they paid the bus woman.
I'm glad they did. They went way too far. Now let me say she did bring a lot of it on herself...but...
One thing I would be interested in knowing is how long that whole thing took - i.e. did they give her some time just to spew and then leave or not?
It also felt to me like there was unnecessary escalation from the Police - the male copper saying he was going to use force and talking down to her...the female copper saying she was going to call social services as a threat (seriously?)..... is this a similar case to last week where you have people in the job who potentially don't have the people skills?
That said, they were in a difficult position so I am torn on it.
She was given the opportunity to leave the bus, she refused, then she progressed to threatening violence.
It wasn’t a pretty sight, though.
As for the community panel, they really annoyed me.

I watched the Stinson Hunter paedophile hunter on netflix the other night, he gets a lot of hate because he's a chav,
Not just because he’s a chav, but because he and his ilk don’t follow any set procedure in what they do so their “evidence” isn’t evidence at all, and they often seem to be doing what they do more out of a motivation of personal glory than anything else.If these people got the evidence, past it on to the police without posting it online,...

I'd love to know how many police officers are sitting around on full pay and why they take so long to come to any conclusion
I know of a copper who was sacked for sexually assaulting two of his colleagues, one of them in the briefing room in full view of the entire shift. He was dismissed for gross misconduct and given a lifetime ban from policing. No prosecution however. They look after their own.
He's an arrogant, narcissistic ex-squaddie who, despite his downfall, still thinks all women love him.
What I do know, from when I was on better terms with him, is that standard advice from the Police Federation once suspended is to rinse the salary out of it then resign at the last minute before being sacked to protect pension rights.
I find it utterly astonishing that PC Dave Lovell was able to escape prosecution despite the overwhelming weight of evidence against him, it's an absolute joke. The best they got was a 'Sexual Risk Order'.

If this had been Joe Public he would have been behind bars. The system is weighted against victims - those women should have been able to see him prosecuted without fear of consequences to them.
I once dated a female officer for a few months in the early 2000s. According to her affairs were rife, the "it's just Dave" type of misogyny was standard behaviour. Most worryingly, nobody would speak out against this type of wrongdoing because you were seen to be betraying your mates. Those who don't stand up to it are enablers.
So, we’re still going to be paying for the !
